I agree with him .. adi is a boomer in this industry but I wonder what Anurag has made in the recent years to offer him a slice of advice 🤣

I agree with him. Film makers need to come from all walks of life.Unfortunately our current lot of insider film makers lack experience on ground realities in India. As Anruag said, that's why they don't realise that making Gujrati characters wear clothes as if they are going to a Garba or using sets instead of location will resonate as inauthentic. According to him sets belong to historical films or Marvel films.


He also made an excellent point about remakes. The original film will reflect the politics,religion and caste realities of that place. Unless those are replaced the remake will not be authentic.But then politics is not supposed to be talked about in a regular Hindi film, even though it is a ground reality.
