I don't want to compare this show to any other but yes it is just as wonderful and full of positive vibes as ZGH. Musaddiq Malik toh has won my heart, soul! May he make many many more wonderful dramas that fill our heads with such pleasure-inducing feels.

I have seen it ..don't wanna sound negative but the ost looks gloomy and sad ..what I mean to say is , ayesha and basit ka acha time aayega only in the end? 🤔 If they keep it nice and balanced like it is now , it will be a show to remember , like zgh ..basit is like Kashaf of zgh but sadly ayesha is not like zaroon . Ayesha is a very emotional and serious person .

Imo 75 lakhs revelation will create a major issue

Basits attitude perhaps , it will tick off ayesha ..he says and does things in anger , which he doesn't regret also .

Whatever the reason is , the separation will come that's for sure . What needs to be seen is if they manage to spin a beautiful love story , a beautiful bond between the two before separation . I don't want ayesha to be coming bk bec basit is her husband or she is pregnant. Basit needs to grow a lot

Let us not compare this show to any other. That path can only lead to disappointments....when I said it has the same positive vibes as ZGH, I meant that it leaves us with a similar positive feeling despite the angst that we might see in the show. But yess...the ost clips do give an angsty feel. I think we should be prepared for an angsty romantic journey but I am right with you there with the hope that the angst will be balanced with moments of sweetness. I really hope the show will continue this measured and not toxic portrayal of two very broken individuals falling in love and healing each other. If they reunite for any external factor apart from the fact that they need each other and want each other, it will be disappointing.

And yes the 75 lakhs thing will be a point of rupture...perhaps that moment in the ost when we see Basit looking at Ayesha coldly and then Ayesha is seen weeping and walking alone on the road wearing the same dress...perhaps that is when Ayesha will find out.

I'm not comparing. Every show is unique with its own plus points ..zgh had lots and lots and lots of them.. habs is still on air so we can anyways not compare ..I am keeping my expectations low so that I am pleasantly surprised, like I am in each epi 😆

As of now , ayesha has only got disappointment frm basits side..there is nothing for her but she is holding her ground . Till the time basit gives her a reason , she won't continue for long ..apart from the cake scene , basit ke sudharne ka koichance nazar nai aa raha 🤔 I hope we see progress in basit , otherwise it's gonna be very painful show.

@Madhuilove I was busy all day today so couldn't find time to respond but did check in and see that you had posted links to the new promo for tomorrow's episode. Why did you remove them?

The new promo has some exciting new clips. The angst level is going to go up now...

@Krinya I totally agree that unless something changes in Basit it will be a very frustrating watch. I think tomorrow will be important in that regards as well...it will give us an idea on where the show wants to take us next.

All day I have been thinking about what you said with regards to the new clips from the ost and then watched the new promo for the upcoming episode as well and I am a bit nervous now...I do not want the angst to go into outright toxic painful shit. It seems like Basit will bring Ayesha back from an interview...he looks like a villain in that scene, the smirk as he looks at her and she stares horrified at him in that office...that is giving me the chills. She will probably ask him to set her free after they return. I hope the director has some treat in store for us and that it is something different and does justice to Ayesha's sense of self respect.

Just wanted to share something here. So I made my mum watch Habs. She also is really liking the progression of the drama. So last night I was discussing the characters with her and she said that Basit's character in Habs and his relationship with his mother reminded her of Jab We Met. Shahid Kapoor's character in the film and his relationship with his mother. It is not explored in the film but at the beginning of the film we see him in a bitter lawsuit with his mother and there too he has certain issues that rise from her abandoning him and walking out of the marriage and so on. My mum said that Habs is in a way exploring the journey of such a child as he grows to accept his mother despite these past issues that lie between them. In Jab We Met at the end we see that Shahid Kapoor finally makes peace with his mum and she joins in the wedding festivities with glee but the film never explores his personal thought process that makes him reach that point of acceptance. So there....thought will leave this here.

Jab we met is also one of my favorites. Get your mom on IF too 😃 I thought all this time that that was his stepmother and that after his father's passing he didn't want anything to do with her and blamed her for coming in between of his parents.

It would be absolutely wonderful to have Basit take that full emotional journey and forgive his mother for what all happened. Actually... Remember the scene in his bedroom. She comes to inform if he is feeling unwell. Why he takes those tablets. There he says at some point I forgive you.. I have nothing else to give to you. Here is my forgiveness.. The acting was so good. He looked so helpless..

Basit doesn't realize yet that forgiving someone is not for the other person (alone) but for himself too. Only then can he move on and see, experience and find happiness again. We will have to be patient but hope they will explore this too..

Bano cannot leave her mother's house completely unless she marries but I do hope she gets the new job without her mother's interference. I so love the way you put it about her journey. Agree 100%! I don't know what kind of scenario would be best for her to meet her new man in...I know we shouldn't think like this and that a girl doesn't need a man to make her happy. But she did love Talal deeply and her love for Ayesha is so pure. And for someone with such capacity for love needs to be loved too. So hoping it happens!

Never thought of Ayesha-Bano's dad till you brought it up! 🤣

I never noticed Imtiaz uncle at the reception either until yesterday evening. He was standing with Fahad and Mansoor uncle. 🤪 and yes! Imtiaz uncle was pretty much a perfectly written character apart from that one thing about Basit inheriting everything. I do hope they will leave out Soha and not have her come back and do the typical other woman drama. But at the same time am trying to keep my mind open because this is a TV drama and the other woman trope might be inevitable even though there was zero emotional investment from either Basit or Soha in that brief engagement of theirs. Also the actress playing Soha, Ayesha Omer, is the third in the cast appearance list so might have a bigger role than those few early episodes.

You will love the forum discussions here! In fact if you ever find the time, I would recommend you go through the early discussions..pg 60-65 onwards....lots of passionate episode discussions...❤️

Farhad, Mansoor and Imtiaz are the only ones I think who know about the deal. Imtiaz, I am not sure.. If so, then he didn't inform his daughter though.. Hope that is positive and that he wanted Basit and Soha to grow organically towards each other.

So who all is in on the reason why Basit got married so fast? Basit, Sadia, Mansoor, Farhad, Ayesha, Bano

I think already responded on this post but I can only confirm on Bano and Ayesha. I love these two and hope they will show more of them. The whole psychology, dynamics of Ayesha, Bano and Zoya all matches up.

Ayesha's expressions are sometimes funny but subtle. I suppose that will happen when these two are in the marriage a bit longer.

I can see her bonding with everyone around him, which might piss him off even more. Not only his mom but also the helper in the household. And I saw the promo! What fabulous news on double episode. But Fahad and Ayesha will bond soon.. So nice.. ❤️
