First the envelope that Ayesha had left with her mother and Basit got angry about.

Then the envelope of money Basit gave Ayesha.

Then the envelopes of money from which Zoya stole and Bano returned empty to Basit.

Hello my lovelies...

Just wanted to share something here. So I made my mum watch Habs. She also is really liking the progression of the drama. So last night I was discussing the characters with her and she said that Basit's character in Habs and his relationship with his mother reminded her of Jab We Met. Shahid Kapoor's character in the film and his relationship with his mother. It is not explored in the film but at the beginning of the film we see him in a bitter lawsuit with his mother and there too he has certain issues that rise from her abandoning him and walking out of the marriage and so on. My mum said that Habs is in a way exploring the journey of such a child as he grows to accept his mother despite these past issues that lie between them. In Jab We Met at the end we see that Shahid Kapoor finally makes peace with his mum and she joins in the wedding festivities with glee but the film never explores his personal thought process that makes him reach that point of acceptance. So there....thought will leave this here.

I agree. In this point yes. The relationship between mother and son is similar.. but everything else is different. From the charactizing, to the background of the girl .. there are more details in Habs which make it more interesting. But Jab We Met is one of my most fav romcoms. ❤️ I keep rewatching it whenever it airs on tv. 😳

I wish Ushna's char was a bit funny or witty. This would've added to the fun.. 😃

Absolutely... in terms of story Habs and JWM are both very different. Jab we met never tries to explore the mother-son relationship apart from just showing us how his past relationships have left that Shahid Kapoor character a broken man.

I think in this drama both Basit and Ayesha are caught in situations that have left them broken in different ways and we will get to see them heal each other together. I am very very excited for what the show might have in store for us/ ❤️

One thing we have to appreciate about the Habs promo team, they do not give out too much of what the episode has in store for us. The element of surprise is retained instead of having them give away all the exciting moments that are to come in the upcoming episode.

It is about the chemistry between leads. Such dramas about love after marriage work only if the chemistry is there. Here a mere look or a slight smile Feroze gives to Ushna makes my day. In the last scene of the latest episode.. she was working on his project and he couldn't take his eyes of her 😳
