Why we have to work right? It would be heaven to watch series all day and have zips of our drinks 😆

Well, happy to know Feroze Khan now too - he makes all fuzzy and tingly too - could this be love? 😆

(Kidding - I am a loyal one)

Stay loyal girl! But nevertheless you can admire others too,.right?😳

I have watched Feroze in other shows but this is the first character of his I have grown so attached to. Basit is something else.

I was also thinking that just as Basit has seen his parents and their relationship fall apart and how that has influenced his thinking, I have a feeling we will see that Ayesha too has been changed by witnessing her sister come close to death after being betrayed in love. I want to see this somehow play out in the way she copes with the marriage. At present since love is nowhere in the equation, this thought will not be bothering her, but once things begin to change with them, just as Basit will be hesitant and full of reluctance, Ayesha too will have her own insecurities and fears.

And yesss!!! The casting in this drama is perfect! Every single character including Talal's sister who has hardly any lines but still does a great job

Oh... I just love your thoughts on this... Yes.. I wonder this too and would like to see how this will play out.

Bano for me is the classic selfless person. She gives and gives. And the moment she wanted that one thing that meant the world to her, her Talal, her love.. Love and be loved, it was snatched from her.
Her breaking down the way she did and finding strength again, was beautiful.

Good point on how the relationships of the parents were for both Basit and Ayesha.

What all they have experienced. And especially, coming so close in losing your sister.

The girls have lost their father. Though.. I wonder too why her mom and even her aunty have such a negative view on men. Qudsia is always complaining that she has no sons. And at the same time she wants the girls to stay away from men as they will leave the girls in pain and misery. No Wait.. They should stay away from poor men.. Bobby Aunty, has stayed unmarried and it seems to be all because of Qudsia.

Basit & Ayesha, it will be a beautiful journey to see their individual struggles to finally find love, companionship and acceptance.

Talal's sister - Yes! It is all about expressions.

So true about Bano's selflessness...in fact it was when Basit came to ask for Ayeshas hand in marriage that we get to see Bano's concern for Ayesha which makes her come out of her depression. From that point on her selflessness once again comes out in the love and worry she has for Ayesha and that actually gives her the strength to stand up again. I think in the next episode we shall see Bano go out to look for a job again. I really really hope the story has something good in store for her. She deserves her own fairytale.

Now that you brought up the dad of Bano and Ayesha...I am thinking what kind of a man might he have been. I am guessing both Bano and Ayesha must have had him around in their lives for a longer period than Zoya. And the two elder sisters are the most sensible and gracious among the family members. So perhaps their father might have been a positive influence on them. However, Qudsia is a foolish narrowminded woman. And Bobby Phupo is a bit silly. So Zoya found these two authority figures in her life and so has turned out the way she has. She has no respect for her mother or her aunt. And her mother and aunt have seen to it that she has no respect for her two elder sisters either.

As for the crying about having no sons...I think Qudsia actually just says whatever she needs to say to get the most out of any situation. When she wanted to stop Bano's marriage so that Bano continues to provide for the family, she put on the mother of three daughter pity party act. Later when Basit paid her 75 lakhs, she became all the most important thing about a woman is not her beauty or education but the man who comes into her life...so I really do not know what Qudsia actually believes in. Also while Bobby did support Qudsia in sending Talal away, she supports Zoya in her affair with Amir. So....

And yessss....I really hope the drama continues in the same vein as it explores Basit and Ayesha's developing relationship.

BTW I noticed that Soha's father, Imtiaz uncle had come to Basit and Ayeshas reception. So he is okay with the fact that Basit did not marry his daughter I am guessing.

Sighhhh...feels so good to discuss all this with you girl 🤗

Twerps!!! Your thoughts on this matches mine so much!!!
I love your analysis and train of thoughts on this.

I feel have to watch again, but this time not when I am fighting sleep 😆 so I can catch more details.

What you described on Bano, how she convinced Ayesha that Basit did came to her house and handled it respectfully. The voice of reason, to not wait for a prince charming (poor or rich). If he is rich, then you are lucky. If poor, you are doomed to lead a life like Bobby Aunty or perhaps even Bano.

Yes, I hope that Bano dusts herself up and puts herself out there. That she find a nice good job (maybe even use the money to find a place for herself but then again.. there is the society she lives in that might not agree as well) and that she will indeed experience to live her own fairytale. I think I would like her to find herself first, or heal herself, and then find her prince charming. Secretly, Basit's friend seem to be a very cool and open minded guy. I hope at some point these two could find each other.

What you wrote on Bano, Ayesha and Zoya, the way they must have grew up, their parents and Bobby Phupo - I can only agree and say yes yes yes!!

I think you have actually given the full backstory like the writer(s) have in mind. If not, then they should read this for sure 😆

I did not notice Soha's father there at the wedding party. must have been too sleepy. But, yes suppose he is cool with this all. In the end, he knows Basit very well, and perhaps loves him as a son. He was good friends with his dad and more so, he loves his daughter. He has never forced into something and she seems to be a modern girl who knows what she wants and knows how to state her opinions. Perhaps to dominant type for Basit. These two were not a match but good, they gave it a chance.

One thing I did not like, and I feel it did not look good on Imtiaz, is when he told Soha that marrying Basit would mean he is the only heir and all his riches would then also be hers. So, what could be the deal with Imtiaz? More secrets perhaps.. 😆

I will rest and sleep a bit.. take care and have a good weekend.

PS. I am looking forward to get to know more people here. Make new friends.. So, whoever is reading this, Please join us.

Bano is my fav too..I just love how she sidelined her pain and trauma and how she gave strength to ayesha , participated in her wedding gleefully ..like she was happy for her sister, even though she couldn't get what she desired ..she is the one trying to control her family when they salivate on basits riches ..I really hope she finds someone worthy of her , finds her fairytale ending

Abt sohas father , well everyone takes this point in notice that he is filthy rich , the perfect guy any father would look for...but then I noticed that when basit came with the marriage proposal and soha kinda told him off , her father completely supported her and understood that these two are not meant to be. They aren't compatible and he put the interests of his daughter first instead of coaxing her to marry basit . So yes I like both soha and her father too , they aren't greedy or opportunist ..

One question. How do you guys see qudsia taking money from.basit ..how will it be seen by ayesha and how is it seen by you all? Bano said she "sold" her daughter. In a way that's true. Basit offering money is also wrong ?

Poor Bano convinced Ayesha to accept Basit's proposal and perhaps for that feels it even more when she learns how her mother took money from Basit. She realises something that Qudsia cannot understand...that by making this into a transaction sort of thing, Qudsia has signed a death warrant on Ayesha's married life. When in ep 12 she shouts at Qudsia saying,.do you even realise what will happen to Ayesha in exchange of these favours you are taking...what her status will become in Basit's house....I cheered Bano in that scene.

And heheh...yesss...since you will have to wait a week for the next episode you will find yourself rewatching earlier episodes 😆

Bano cannot leave her mother's house completely unless she marries but I do hope she gets the new job without her mother's interference. I so love the way you put it about her journey. Agree 100%! I don't know what kind of scenario would be best for her to meet her new man in...I know we shouldn't think like this and that a girl doesn't need a man to make her happy. But she did love Talal deeply and her love for Ayesha is so pure. And for someone with such capacity for love needs to be loved too. So hoping it happens!

Never thought of Ayesha-Bano's dad till you brought it up! 🤣

I never noticed Imtiaz uncle at the reception either until yesterday evening. He was standing with Fahad and Mansoor uncle. 🤪 and yes! Imtiaz uncle was pretty much a perfectly written character apart from that one thing about Basit inheriting everything. I do hope they will leave out Soha and not have her come back and do the typical other woman drama. But at the same time am trying to keep my mind open because this is a TV drama and the other woman trope might be inevitable even though there was zero emotional investment from either Basit or Soha in that brief engagement of theirs. Also the actress playing Soha, Ayesha Omer, is the third in the cast appearance list so might have a bigger role than those few early episodes.

You will love the forum discussions here! In fact if you ever find the time, I would recommend you go through the early discussions..pg 60-65 onwards....lots of passionate episode discussions...❤️

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

When Ayesha and Basit got engaged and Sadia was putting the bangles on Ayesha's wrist, it was Bano Ayesha was looking at for support. And when after the nikah, Ayesha leaves it is Bano who breaks down and cries the most. I really hope the show does more with this bond than exists between them. Bano is really the elder sister you wish to have.

I love the way you described Imtiaz uncle and Soha's relationship. It is truly that made us appreciate them both so much. I sincerely hope they remain these positive characters.

The thing about taking the money...you know it is actually perfectly okay if Basit as the son in law helps his wife's family financially. However, the problem lies in the way things have been framed so far. Qudsia literally told him her version of 'Show me the money' when he came to her to ask for Ayesha's hand in marriage. And the end result of that? He treats the agreement between him and Qudsia as a deal he struck with Qudsia. He also realises at some level that this same approach will not work on Ayesha. So when he tells Ayesha while giving her the money in ep 12 he first says this is your salary. But when she reacts by saying she doesn't need a salary to perform her duties as his wife, he tries to rectify himself, but he still does not know how to word it so that she will not find his help a burden. Sadia was right when she said that Basit is doing no favour by giving Ayesha money but the words that came with the envelope cannot help but have hurt Ayesha. I think in the next episode we will find them both tackling this issue.
