Aug 13th: Sher aur Chuhiya ki kahaani

I mostly enjoyed the epi today but Dev is still a hard character to get a read on😆. Just as I was starting to warm up to him again, he's back to his bipolar behavior with Vidhi in the precap.

Anyways, still worth mentioning the notable bits today....

a) The parallel sibling scenes from yesterday continued into today to establish how Dev and Vidhi are learning things from each other.....Dev recalled how Vidhi's bacchon jaisi story taught him a big lesson about how his brother didn't want sona/chaandi but just wanted his simple wish to be a chef fulfilled. Meanwhile on Vidhi's side, Sapna used the analogy of the sher and chuhiya ki kahaani😆.....that the sher protected the mouse with his roar (Dev standing up for Vidhi against the ladkewaale) while the mouse freed the sher by chewing through the net he was trapped in (Vidhi saving Dev from the reporters)😆.....

b) Dev's emotional scene with his mom and brother the next morning as he convinces her to allow Abhimanyu to work as a chef. I was surprised by how emotional Dev got over the simple desire to make his brother happy...he literally had a catch in his voice while pleading with his mom. Also, I'm only now realizing that his mom's name is Satyavati😆....another Mahabharat analogy? Good lord....the deja vu is too heavy in this dynamic....lol the original Bhishma also had a stepmom called Satyavati😆....and it was the same dynamic of both of them trying to protect the throne/kingdom....in this case it's the Raichand family name😆.

c) On Vidhi's side of the family, the crumbling haveli is the main issue....plaster is falling off the roof but Vidhi's dad refuses to allow her income to be used for repairs and is trying to manage on his own.

d) And finally we had an Amba-Dev scene in the end....lol Amba madam has shifted her whole business to Indore😆. She randomly called Dev to inform him of the fact that now she can stalk him more easily by being in the same city....and for whatever reason, they never show Dev directly saying to her that he's not interested in her....he just keeps dithering with general statements but never totally shuts her down.....I guess the makers want to drag on the ambiguity for drama. Only new detail we learnt today was Amba's last name of Mehta and she's some business tycoon's daughter.

Precap shows Vidhi's chachi landing up in the office to create a scene and asking Dev to give Vidhi an advance on her income for family haveli ke repairs....Dev then scolds Vidhi that why is she bringing daily drama into the office. The part I don't get is why they are showing Dev so oblivious about Vidhi's personality....on one hand he keeps hailing her honesty but then turns around and scolds her like she would deliberately be creating tamaashe in the office😕....how does that jive with his claims about her honesty?

On one hand, they are trying to show him as a guy oh so sensitive to his family's needs that he literally starts CRYING with the desire to make them happy😆....and on the other hand, he can't even find this much sensitivity towards a girl who is so obviously sehmi hui in front of him? 😕.....Like the girl literally just solved his issue with his brother and it didn't take him a second to start ranting at her cuz her home problems came to the office for a bit? Is this being dragged for contrivance until he magically starts to sympathize with her family condition and start to help her? 😕😆

He was frustrated, and vidhi saying that even he likes cooking and meddling into his family business though not intentionally was a triggering point for him.

Not saying what dev did was right,but I guess everyone have their flaws...and moments where they get angry...even if the person is generally calm and composed....

such a lovely epsiode today untilt he alme Precap again.. it is extra urhmm🤔 given that Mr Dev who is now troubled by Vidhi ke gahrwale comign to office is the one who meddled first in her matters sure he saved her but then it kinda contradicts his meri family walon se koi baat na karo but i can.. this is all about intention and he fails to see her good intentions so far in terms of this and har baat pe usko doubt karne lagta hai like this whole why your chachi askign for advacne.. it gets even more questionable that he knwos why things happened like the whoel sari thing too jiska taana maar raha hai and Boy cnanot have a moment of gratitude to her directly when she showed you the way now so many times and helped you.. it is honestly looking way too odd..

but apart from that i loved hwo the episode had a lot of heart liked the dynamic between dev and mom and how he managed to get his mom ka approval btu the parallel scene was my fav overall

rest looks like Vidhi ke dad would be fired and unfortunately he would have to take her Money to chalao ghar as he would be jobless

NO its way too wrong his behaviour towards Vidi looks like he have found a punching bag when ever he is frustrated he gets his anger out on Vidhi ,he knows her chachi that how greedy and trouble causer she is when he first went to her house . Now he is insulting her every day the whole staff of the office makes fun of her and wants to get rid of her except home staff . Can he not see that or the water always flow to towards the lower parts ,he cant even see what his friend and his wife are doing ?when he would be liked out of the business he will blame Vidhi as well.-

Nice takes by all, I liked the scenes with Dev and his step-brother now. Especially Dev trying to gauge Abhi's interest and the wood-cutter's actual desire was nicely correlated + parallel scene of Vidhi comprehending how her actions boosted her confidence unknowingly at the time. But, again the sudden flip-flop in his behavior is just truly frazzling. Plus, the scenes with Amba just feel random as of now lol, no offense. 😂 Not sure if its going the cliched route or something at this point, only makers know this direction.

Vidhi's dad did respect that Vidhi's salary is her hard-earned money though the financial conditions have costed him heavily.

I just felt bit nebulous, though, with the recent precap of Dev frustrated with Vidhi and the new promo of Dev helping Vidhi with theory comprehension lol. 😂 Just frazzles me as a viewer, trying to understand his arc/mindset. It seems like nor does he like interference in his personal space nor into other's personal space perhaps with that Chachi appearing so randomly in the office??? (I might get this wrong lol) Blasting on Vidhi when he's observed that her skittish demeanor and how her story helped him solve his issues with Abhi --- sorry, just feelin' at the sea here lol 😕😆.
