Every now and then there are trends on Twitter that Boycott Bollywood or Bollywood Movies, how much do you care about these trends and do you follow? Are these trends justified? Or it’s high blind emotion at the moment and will die down eventually.

Users want to boycott so many films. some reasons are justified some not but at the end of the day, it's the audience's choice what they watch or do not watch
I usually don't watch kjo or Alia movies in the cinema though because I don't like them onscreen/offscreen
Yes. That's also freedom of speech. No one's obligated to go watch Bollywood movies. If audience wants to boycott you for Mickey Mouse ears, it's still their prerogative. Silly, but still their choice.
I don't know about others but I don't care about these boycott this boycott stuff. I have watched Dilwale, Padmavat and LSC in theaters because I wanted to watch them. In fact I feel these boycott related stuff makes me more curious to watch those movies. 😆 It's a different thing that I didn't enjoy watching these movies because they were crap but if it was not this boycott stuff I would have never even thought of going to theaters and watch these movies. 🤣😂
Anyways these boycott stuff shows how velle are people and they will do anything as long as it doesn't affect them personally. It won't harm them in anyway to tweet about boycotting stuff. They think, producers and distributors ka nuksaan hota hai hone do apne ko kya? I don't agree with what they're showing so I will boycott. Then these people will watch the same movies on TV or in digital platforms. 🙃

i think it’s a blind emotion, if you find a hashtag you go and tweet! Boycotting movies should have very good reason for me, watching or not it’s upto audience I agree but trending Boycott So and So movie is just looking very weird.

You said it. Couldn’t Agree more.
I don’t involve myself in boycott trends. But what can we do about it? Just watch what you want in cinemas

It all starts after May 2020. Earlier, there wasn't this much buzz on SM.
Its the choice of each individual to watch a movie or to boycott it.Its not they are demanding a Ban on it.
And it's nice to see these actors getting all riled up.Its indeed a reality check for these stars & will bring them to ground level. No more of such entitlement & arrogance
It would be better if actors are confined to their acting job alone instead of making comments or preaching abt a religion & every xyz. Its the actors who themselves brought religion & politics into movies & started propaganda. Now they are getting back the taste of their own medicine & receiving end. Let them bear the brunt.
Currently...BW is highly deficient of good scripts & music which is the primary reason for failure
