That's what I was expecting from Aamir in particular, to come with like a completely different, new film as an adaptation. Similar in structure but a different film.

Similarly if the writers work or add more on structure and screenplay of say Hanks's very own The Terminal or even the one mentioned.It's about being more imaginative and creative then FG can be adapted in many ways.

Tom's character is Forrest Gump is Autistic ( high functioning). These people may seem little weird for others.... but they are golden heart!!! I am talking from my experiance as a mom and Forrest Gump movie is so close to my heart!

I’m going to condense all the replies to my post about the effect of boycott into one, because I’m lazy and kind of half moved on 😆 but I want to respond anyway.

All of you definitely made interesting points and I get it, mostly. I am however still not a 100% convinced that the boycott didn’t play some part, even if small, in how this opened.

Ghajini opened at 10 crores in 2008, so imagine how much big of a disaster this is

Remember when Aamir said you take the weekend and if the total is 4 or 5 times that much. Than That proves the film was loved. I wonder how much LSC will be 😆
