Another thought that occurred, Suman and Shiva will not throw Raavi out because she is the one who they can take their anger out on. It will never happen with Dhara or Rishita because both their husbands are supportive of them. Rishita herself knows how to give it back to Suman and Shiva, she is not the one to keep quiet.

How much ever Raavi tries to fight back, somehow Maa-Beta corner her and make it a point to humiliate her in front of the family or many times in public.


Whatever we say about the characters, at the end of the day it’s all writers fault, their ghatiya soch is the problem. They think by showing this ratings will increase but audience have moved past such shit.

I hope the TRPs tank because of Raavi's humiliation. Bewakoof log hain makers.

I tell you, these writers are the worst I have ever seen, even after all they put Raavi through, they still don’t het tired of putting the girl down.

Did Shiva forget that this is the same girl who fought for him against Rishita when she called him gawar, jaahil, junglee, anpadh.

This is the same girl found out on her own about why he quit his education, encouraged him to study further.

This is the same girl who stood by him throughout Rising Businessman of Gujarat competition.

This is the same girl who firmly believed that Shiva was alive and will comeback, never giving up hope.

What has she not done for Shiva and his family. How much humiliation and abuse she went through because of him and his family in the past year!

How conveniently he forgot all of it!

Finally when she gets to do something for herself, proving her worth, can’t believe he is turning out to be a douchebag again, SMH,

Shiva cannot accept anything Raavi to be anything else other than his wife and kandyas bahu.

There are very few men in this world who will accept and be happy for their wives if they are more successful than them. Shiva is definitely not one of them, not even anywhere close to such men, will never be one in his lifetime.

I called out on Raavi hiding the bank promotion deal from Shiva. But two things made her take that decision. One, she thought it could be a prank call, second, if it is not a prank call, then she would surprise him.

We all saw what was his reaction when she handed him over 25,000 rupees for the restaurant gig. He coyldn’t believe it and he himself thought that she was pranking him and even asked her if she looted from somewhere. Shiva till this date thinks Raavi is a dobi, can’t do anything worthwhile, always messes up things and has a tede dimaag. So, when the bank deal came, she knew exactly how Shiva would react if she did not have any proof. Later she does realize that her surprise backfired. But he cannot continue hold that against her.

As for character growth, there is no denying that Raavi has had a better character growth than him. Else with all that abuse and humiliation she went through during IVF kaand and divorce kaand any other girl would have left him. Even during the remarriage when sge told him the truth about Dhara secretly getting them married, she said, “ roz roz taane sunna, subah uttke berukhi baatein sunn na” when it was no fault of hers, shows character growth on Raavi’s part because she was determined to get her love back.

Up until this SM track Shiva has not stood up for Raavi, even her own dialogues said that whereas Raavi has stood up for him against Mami even when they were not in love with each other. Definitely shows her cgaracter growth.

Every time there is a problem between them, except for filing divorce, he asks Dhara for help or Suman for help. Whereas Raavi always fights her own battles, she is not bringing in Mami in between them.
He wanted sacche ehsaas, he gave her that.

He wanted her to prove that she didn’t file for divorce, she tried her level best to prove but Shiva’s lack of trust on her blinds his thinking.

There is also bo denying that she has done more for him and his family than he has ever done for her and her family. He has saved her from danger but many times it was his duty and sometimes he dud it out of humanity, would have done for any girl (he saved and helped Disha)

Raavi has all along never tried to hide anything from him but there is no denying that he has never taken seriously.

IMO, Raavi has had a better character growth in this than Shiva has had. Sometimes Raavi is not even allowed to get angry and take it out on others, because the tables are turned on her, whereas Shiva takes out all his anger on Raavi when things don’t go his way.

That sums up everything of last year. I'll be honest.. I started watching this show after leap, and main attraction for me was Shiva. When they got married, I was like jis din ye Raavi ke pyaar me pad gya, us se better husband koi nhi hoga. She'll be the luckiest girl on earth to marry that man but I'll be honest, everything I wanted in Shiva's character growth, I got that in Raavi. She became the girl that showed immense character growth in past one & half year. She was heart broken, then tried for this marriage, again she was put down due to Shiva's insecurities. At every point she had to prove herself & she did!

She gave her sachhe ehsaas even after putting under worst possible conditions, she faught for her marriage despite every adversity, She against the whole world. Now she's fighting again. For herself, her existence. This time too, she against the whole world.

For me it's Raavi's story now & I'm watching that show for her. Everytime I get detached from the show, it's her story that makes me watch it. I started watching this SM track for her. How her story gonna progress.

I'm an aunty, I don't take these name callings as personal. Yes I relate this story to normal routine, normal relationship.. That's my way of watching a show!

Who will decide that I should only watch for a ship otherwise don't watch! Who will decide if I have any work or not, if I want to watch the show & discuss here. If you are so much "interested" in personal life of aunties, just give me your address, I'll book your ticket to my place & you can watch, learn, write a thesis on my daily routine & how a woman should take out time for doing the things she likes.

I believe that Raavi & Shiva have grown since the beginning significantly just not sometimes in ways we prefer as viewers but that doesn’t mean the growth has stopped

a huge gesture isn’t always needed to show growth & if we were to look at it from the beginning, then Raavi had more room for growth than shiva

He is allowed to get frustrated about her lying to him but doesn’t have to take that frustration out in front of the family to give his mother a chance to taunt and humiliate Raavi which she has done several times in the past. Raavi is not taking her frustrations out in public at him.

I never said Shiva has not grown, I only said Raavi has had better character growth than Shiva. She has indeed come a long way but he would still like to stay in his comfort zone.

If you feel Raavi had more room for character growth , then it’s the writers fault not to give Shiva more room to grow.

This is the first time he is ever supporting her being a SM influencer, look how they are complicating it and openly not giving him an opportunity to grow. Instead they are making him feel frustrated, doubt Raavi if she is after money, why? Why do we need such things at this time when they have gone through so much and he very well knows that Raavi will be the last person in that family who will be after money.

No you are right. I think makers here have no knowledge of Gujrat. Gujrati culture, lifestyle of people are all the most same regardless of chhota bada shehar. Even upbringing, basic nature, culture, mentality of Gujrati living in Somnaath Or US would be same, if they are born & bought up in Gujrat. Gujrat is one of the only state you'll see woman handling even toll booth on highways, irrespective of chhota, bada shehar.

I'm not saying people of regressive mentality are not there. But it depends on person rather than blaming whole "chhote shehar people"
