Also, Shivina had died. Maybe Priya indeed felt guilty for not being able to protect her and keep her promise. And maybe she thought, they got married due to Shivina. So, if Shivina wasn't there anymore, the foundation of their marriage is also gone. (I don't believe so. I am trying to decode Priya's thought process)

@Green: Ram didn't know Nandini's truth. There was no guarantee that he would believe Priya without any proofs. How would Ram protect Pihu against a danger that he either cannot see or cannot accept? On top of that, he himself needed to be protected from that vile lady's malevolent schemes.

Nandini had threatened Priya on the premises of a police station. I hope there is a recording of that conversation in the police station. Logically, no one is allowed to visit criminals in jail without proper surveillance.

In her head she had to protect Pihu from Nandini, protect Ram from herself and thus there was no middle ground because as u said she knew Ram will never believe that Nandini is capable of doing it . Remember the scene when Shubham pushed Priya and Ram blamed Akki for pushing her. Priya knows Ram's psychology way too well. She knew he would have to go through hell when he has to chose her over his grieving step family. So she just made it a cakewalk for Ram.

Instead of worrying about him, she should have simply said, your mom will never accept Pihu, as she is the kid of the person whose family was the reason of VK and Shivi death .

She threatened me to send our kid to Anath Ashram .So I want you cut off ties from your family ( I have cut off from my Sood family ) . Tell him just like how he tells her, Choose Mr.Kapoor choose , choose and do it now ,it's either your step family or our kid.

At least then the onus would be on Ram whether he choses their baby or step family . Now he has no responsibility , everything is Priya's mistake . She voluntarily made herself a villain. ( Well she said that too in the first drunk scene, apni life ki main khud hi villain hu😂 )

@Red , this whole case makes no sense to me. I tried researching a bit about it. I found that what Pri did comes under false confession. When someone themselves confess their crime , it is not sufficient to sentence them , some other evidence is needed. It is ensured that the person is free from any external pressure. It is not possible to settle a case in police station without going to court. Ideally someone from Kapoor family should have gone to court and given testified against her. Ram told Krish that he will testify against Priya,if he actually did that without being eye witness even he can be booked under perjury along with Priya.

Or if he didn't testify atleast some information has to be produced in court right? Kuch toh argument hua hoga court me . Some investigation has to happen from the police side to ensure Priya is not making false confession. That would mean interrogating Kapoor family and Sood family, especially Sood family as they were near to the crime scene. If that happened, Eshaan ka sach tabhi bahar aa jata, or domestic violence accusation samne aa jata.

BALH2 and the way they treat court cases. Priya ne jail me bol diya maine kiya bas khatam kahani

@blue - you have a valid point there! But she should have taken a leap of faith and if Ram failed it as always, it would be on him. If he wanted to continue believing his stepmom, his call. But lying to him that his own child was Krish's was not right.

Just like how Priya saw the truth if her father with her own eyes to become aware of his true nature when she was a kid, Ram too has to see the truth of his mother with his own eyes. No hear say will lead him to believe that.

Well, right after Shivina died, the Kapoors were freshly bereaved family. So even if Priya gave Ram a choice and Ram chose Priya over Nandini, he would still have guilt of leaving them alone in their bereaving state. Upar se wo sautela wala taunt.

No one is right or wrong in this situation, neither Priya nor Ram. The circumstances are too complicated.

Not choose between Priya and family , but their kid and the family, in case he wants to raise her alone and she is okay with it due to her guilt . Then only she can give Pihu to him na, Khud toh jail me hogi anyway 2 saal tak

Whatever it is , let Ram deal with it. Khud ko khamaka villainize kyu karna . Just let Ram fight that battle of choosing . But Priya nahi karegi yaar, even now I think she will not ask him to choose. If she does , it will be quiet a thing to watch
