This twitter trends doesn't help at all I have seen before fandoms trending for their fav show not to end the show or requesting for extension.
This is is god damn starplus once decided it will sure happen..
In other channels trp is low they extend or move it to ott...
But imlie trp is not that bad but they are not reaching star plus expectancy

Bold - Why is that? This question is for everyone here. Why doesn't ITV repeat popular couples? One would think it's a surefire way to ensure that a show becomes a hit. Any ideas?

Good point. I totally forgot about the new show of ghum PH. Early slots pe they are anyways bringing new shows. So a prime time show has to take the hit. You have already mentioned how other shows have no chance of going off-air.The only show left is Imlie. Though it is also getting decent TRPs, the disinterest of the PH is causing trouble. Good point. I totally forgot about the new show of ghum PH. Early slots pe they are anyways bringing new shows. So a prime time show has to take the hit. You have already mentioned how other shows have no chance of going off-air.The only show left is Imlie. The main problem here is the disinterest of the PH. So, SP might think iss show ko hi off air Kar dete hain.
I Donno how it works but guessing maybe pH should call the media to come their sets to conduct interviews, segments of the leads or pH have to pay to media PPL as see all star shows gets interviews from sbs, India forums etc etc we don't get any segments, interviews of our leads.... Fandom on insta requested to media houses for their interviews segments but still we didn't get...
As we all kno gul is not interested in our show, lacking in everything wardrobe, characters in the show.

No. Bollywood mein it's a matter of 3 hours. You can't get attached to a couple and they characters they play. You may love, you may vibe with it, some characters might be even swoon worthy, or inspiration worthy, but attachment hone mein time lagta hai. 3 hours is too less.
A ITV actor plays a role for almost anywhere from 6 months to 1/2/3 or more years. The attachment we form is almost 60% for the character, and only 40 for the actor. (This is just a general consideration)
It's difficult for us to envision SuMaan as anything other than Arylie. People tend to expect a lot and there is also a problem of too much hype. Say suppose Fahmaan plays a role of a arrogant badtameez ML. And Sumbul plays a rather meek FL. Do you think we will like to see this ? Somehow you will not able to get Arylie out of your mind.
But in the case of fresh couple, that is Fahmy or Sumbul with someone else have a potential to be a hit.
This is an unwritten rule. Very rarely a hit couple are able to produce a hit project second time. For example, Nakul and Disha were quite a famous couple for Pyaar ka dard meetha meetha pyaara pyaara.
They don't have the same magic or love now as Ram Kapoor and Priya. Still now the OG Ram and Priya are favs. Even though their chemistry is good enough.
