Are you all excited?

Well, I am excited.

You must have heard about IF IDOL organized by the India Forums Development Team a few years ago, and some of you must have participated in it, too. And I am sure that many of you wish to experience it again.

We are here with a brand new season of IF IDOL, but this time it will be different with many exciting rounds.

We will be conducting 5 Rounds. After each round, there will be an elimination depending upon how many entries we receive.

• Record your song at https://reverb.chat/uses/song-recorder-online/
• You cannot use any recorded background music or karaoke.
• Musical Instruments will be allowed only to maintain tempo and scale.
• Beatboxing is allowed along with the song.
• Results will be announced based on Judges' Scoring.
• Bottom 3 will face elimination. Voting rounds will be conducted to determine who will be eliminated.
• There will be five rounds in total. Each will have different criteria.
• You can send your entries to Koeli
• We will further announce rules when we post the rounds.

Congratulations to all the participants who made it into the Round 4.

For round four, you have to pick an iconic Bollywood onscreen couple and sing song(s) featuring them. In 3 minutes, you can sing as many songs as you please.

The couple has to be considered iconic/popular on the silver screen

You can send only one entry.

Your entry can have 1 or more songs.

You have to stick with only one onscreen couple in your entire entry. 

The length of your song shouldn't exceed 3 mins.

You cannot use any recorded background music or karaoke.

 Musical Instruments will be allowed only to maintain tempo and scale.

 Beatboxing is allowed along with the song.

The song(s) has to be in Hindi, given that we are sticking to BW couples.

Please don't delete the song until the scores are published. 

 You must send your entries to Koeli

Of course, they all are iconic onscreen couple, and have stood the test of time. But if we want to sing something more contemporary, what is the criteria for iconic in that case. For newer couples, will jodis with multiple hit movies work?

Well, maybe iconic is a stretch, but you can consider an onscreen couple who is popular and jas done atleast 2 movies together.

In case of multiple songs, they can't be sang completely though.

 if you go for one song, sing it for 3 minutes, jitna ban padta hai, if more than that, try to pick the parts where both singers sing

Koeli can't we sing solo songs as well picturized on iconic couples?? Making duets mandatory is really narrowing down the choice!!

 since it’s a duet round, you need to sing song/songs that has a voice over for both the actors.
