SRK got where he was by hustling. He was already a star when YRF and Dharma offered him roles. They didn't make him. Dharma was bankrupt when SRK did KKHH. Adi was a 1st time director. Let's not kid ourselves they made SRK.

AND... even if they did, he got them to do it on the basis of PREVIOUS TRACK RECORD. They didn't pick up a nobody and make him a star.

If he was shrewd and ambitious, he put his own capabilities to work getting those roles and getting that success. It was his work. All his own.

2. Alia is a good actress. Not superlative like her fam and friends claim. Just good.

She is also hustling.

But her method of hustling is basically twisting arms using KJo.

Which is why she's not respected.

That time Srk has no released movie on his credit, so yes he was a nobody to Bollywood when Yrf offered him their first movie.

Deewana, Chamatkar, Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, and Baazigar came before Darr, out of which only Chamatkar failed.

Darr might have been offered to him before, for which I only have your claim as evidence, but SRK was a star before Darr saw the light of the day.

Also, who exactly did SRK MANIPULATE? He asked for roles. And he took whatever he could get. He didn't go around getting his godfather to throw out other actors. Yash Raj certainly didn't throw out Aamir at Vivek Vaswani or Aziz Mirza's say so.😆

Even if everything you said about were to be accurate, difference would be he did it all himself. No godfather. No industry relatives. THAT'S what you call a self-made man.

When you build a computer in your garage which later on becomes the company called Hewlett Packard, those engineers still built that company. Walt Disney gave them their first big contract. Disney Corp doesn't get credit for HP though. That's how business works.

The business of art works the same way. SRK was selling his talent and charisma. Yash Raj was buying. Yash Raj doesn't get credit for SRK because they saw in him an opportunity to make money.

KJo gets credit for Alia because he literally plays godfather to her. Don't know if you've watched those movies. Don Corleone makes a film producer an offer he can't refuse so his godson, Johnny Fontane, can become an actor.😆
