Not the same thing. SRK, already an established actor, became the king of romance after DDLJ and then he was approached for a lot of the big romantic movies of Dharma and YRF. I know the debate can go on and on but SRK also gave YRF and Dharma some big blockbusters and arguably made Adi Chopra and Karan Johar’s careers as directors. Alia proved absolutely nothing with SOTY when she got Highway at the behest of KJo. She emotionally manipulated KJo and Abhishek to get Kalank. Snatched Dear Zindagi from Katrina and allegedly Udta Punjab from Parineeti. Completely different scenarios of rise to stardom and recognition. And I say this as someone who was never an SRK fan.

Alia is not a good performer, she hardly emotes, her dialogue delivery is flat- no variation or depth or pauses. She speaks like on real life too.😆 Her expressions are limited to squinting of eyes or twitching eyebrows.

Barjatya gave just 3 films to Salman

Unlike some 3 dozen movies to Srk by yrf and dharma creating 90% of srk's career very unlike in Salman barjatya's case

People need to see the difference with open eyes here instead of dragging Salman everywhere to save srk's cunning skin all the time on forums.

But like I said someone else (tara somebody) snatched a movie from Katrina and she didn't become a super star. That film wasn't even a success. So maybe Alia just has the right charisma 😳 You Can attribute snatching to Alias success if you want but here's a case of snatching doing nothing for no one. An a bigger point is people replace other all the time for various reasons.

The "making good" part comes secondary. First comes the "snatching" - so that is the focal point. I am a big fat fan of Alia as everyone knows, I love her great performances, but do we really have to defend her at every step, even when she's wrong... - well I don't operate like that. I'm spilling the tea.

Some more trivia for you: Katrina Kaif was also replaced by Minissha Lamba in Yahaan (2005) and Rakhi Sawant in Main Hoon Na (2004). And the other film you're referring to is Tara Sharma's Saaya (2003) 😎

An I’ll maintain if this actor/actress is replaced this many times I can’t blame anyone else or say other magical forces were at work 😆

Well I believe you are a bigger Alia fan than me. But I’ll defend her cause I don’t think these politics are anything unique to Alia. It’s how all of Bollywood is. You even told me Katrina was replaced several times. 😆😆

No. SRK and Ajay backed out. Film went to Salman, and Aamir who couldn’t do the movie right away. According to Rakesh Roshan himself SRK only wanted back after he heard that Salman and Aamir were liking the script so he approached Roshan and since Aamir couldn’t clear his schedule SRK got the part. A) we don’t know if Ajay only backed out because of SRK and if he would have come back if he could or not, and B) that’s a moot point anyway because by then the role had gone to Salman entirely based on Rakesh Roshan’s decision. SRK was indecisive and perhaps wishy washy and maybe even arrogant and a snob about the role but based on everything that’s been said by the filmmakers he did not push Ajay out of the role.

People fight for roles, usually it’s called auditioning. People even approach producers or filmmakers and try to present themselves as the better choice for the movie for various reasons. The issue with Alia and these roles is that she hasn’t gotten any of these roles because it was argued that she was the better choice. The understanding in all of these situations are that she got these roles due to Kjo’s power and position in the industry just to push Alia ahead. As Aishwarya once said, all these great roles are “literally falling in her [Alia] lap”. DZ’s script had to be changed around just to accommodate Alia’s young age in front of SRK. And then there were rumors of Gauri Shinde just being so unhappy and acting out during preproduction time that KJo threatened to shut down the whole production.

some more..Bachna Ae Haseena was also supposed to have katrina..but here they did not even bother replacing her..they just chopped off her role altogether..
