I disagree about her PR team. They are unnecessarily agressive and useless. Everything they put out is focused on targeting her competitors rather than creating a wholesome, positive brand around her (she could have build an empire with brands considering how famous she is). She should and could have avoided being so tainted during her recent scandals had they been more proactive. And her social media/public speaking presence is a disaster - they book the wrong type of platforms for her (she is not intellectual - they should either advise her more wisely before letting her speak on sensitive topics or do what Alia and Katrina do, which is to stay in their lane and leverage their strengths).

Eh Deepika still has the best team in the business. Deepika's problem is her film choices. There isn't a director who wouldn't sign Deepika on the first hint that she wants to work with them right now. Yet she is choosing to play second fiddle to male leads in dumb blockbusters. That's pretty much what I think the Alia piece was implying with the original headline.
