if cheeni was at least financially well taken care of, we can say that imlie is doing a good job. however, imlie won't even apologize to keep her job. even as a single parent, she will not put the child first to ensure she has a job and instead it is always about herself. if not this job, then do something else -- be a teacher, work in a factory, something. isn't imlie educated? for all the chatter about girl power, why is this kid in dire poverty when she has relatives who are actually quite well-off? isn't that cruel to make a child live like that? imlie comes across to me simply as selfish and inept as a parent. cheeni would have been definitely better off with the tripathis or some other childless couple. 🤷

You have brought out some very valid points which I personally can connect myself. In this entire track Imlie is shown delusional who believes that only she can take care of Gudiya. Malini also knew this and took advantage of it, had Imlie maintained distance Malini would have just put G up for adoption.
Gosh, during Covid where so many kids lost that their parents, for once I thought of adopting a child myself but then uncertainty of jobs, how would I manage finances to raise the child for next 20 years at least and knowing long waiting list of parents for adoption, I dropped it. As practical person one can never ignore finances before adopting a child.
And I have not seen the separation episodes so can't say on exact dialogues said by Aryan. But I don't see him wrong, as per me Imlie should have stayed away moment she knew Malini is G mother. In a way Imlie herself puts fire in her house, expects Aryan to extinguish and they wants us to feel her pain.
Why wont these ITV FL learn to draw boundary. I can't understand Anupama obsession to SH but now at least those are her children, she gave that house 26 year, but Imlie didn't spend even year with T family, didn't grew up with Malini as elder sister and still she is shown this obsessed despite getting all love and support from Aryan. Well, I am disappointed can't say more.
