i liked vikram but i found hw infuences in 2nd half, my favorite of his is kaithi.

kjo and ayaan doing it is expected but somebody of lokeshs caliber should not be even adapting lingo

rajamouli also had tons of hw influence in his earlier films but the more you move away and create your own voice the more you will stand out

I thought you were talking about Lokiverse because it was the first thing that came to my mind. Anyways, it is always good to find your own voice than aping anyone else, but I guess even that takes time and evolution of one's own personality over time. I don't have anything to say about Brahmastra because can't comment on it until I watch it and Ranbir looks like a complete misfit.

Reg Vikram and Hw influence, vigilante justice - anti system movies are not my cup of tea anymore, just that the movie was a smashing theatrical experience with a teriffic bg score and of course features my favourite legend in the making - Fahadh. So I have a low key soft spot for the 'Lokiverse' 😛

true, it was a good watch and i love fahadh too,

i will be killed but i have lost interest in kamal hassan, everything he does seems so labored now compared to his prime

i feel these fans and social media create pressure on these new directors instead of letting them be and evolve

I think that is popular belief now 😆also after the whole political drama and excessive social commentary, KH lost a lot of his charm. Moreover, the stuff he has done during his prime is legendary stuff and he has been trying too hard in the name of being experimental since many years now.
