darr looks outdated now and is yash chopra's lower level movie, but it was srk breaking out as a star, now we are used to srk but those days it was a huge craze to see somebody so fresh and different

films are not govt social messages, society has all kinds of people, they can show anything but point is are they gloriying crap, this is the grey area because even if they dont glorify, a charismatic actor can make you sympathise with a grey character, also human mind does like the grey and complex

Like we have Rocky from KGF jo anti hero hai he does everything wrong and everything right lekin uska criticism hai ki he didn't treat his woman well

I agree, waise pushpa men bhi same naa, he is from 80s or 90s and small village, labor background, woh kya wine aur roses ke saath romance karega, he will be crude, problem yeh hain ki people want woke template in everything

other side they say is that since these heros are charismatic guillible people may emulate them, but woh pehle tha, ab I think with internet etc, youth is not looking at heros like demi gods

Pushpa me Allu Arjun hai waha i have conflict of interest, can't dislike him no matter what 😆 lekin didn't like his track with Mandana could have avoided love story

Haven't watched Gangubai but Kabir Singh (also Arjun Reddy) was a feminist. It was good to see a Bollywood film where hero is not treating the heroine like a damsel in distress.

this is also the problem with all the biographies which are made in India and why they are all failing

they are hagiographies, basically they dont want to show anything bad about the person, human beings are flawed, these people became famous because they despite their flaws not because they did not have them but we will whitewash everything

it becomes so banal and boring and also it is untrue because you are distorting truth

compare it to films like nixon or queen where they show the grey areas
