As an aside, Disha's role has become so generic and monotonous, that if I hadn't seen her og Priya, I'd have thought her a very ordinary actress. Only the fights between Ram and Priya have any interest for me. Eyelocks and falling-catching is so bleh, and so-called romance is just pathetic. As we've said, bhai, behen, drop the romance if you can't go beyond misunderstandings, and go do the deed.
It sometimes vaguely concerns me what message this kind of nonsense is sending impressionable young people. All the posts I see drooling over scenes like that staircase fall or the dori tying. As long as such synthetic trp boosters work, we'll never get anything worthwhile.
Sadly all Disha as Priya 2.0 does or gets to do these days is walk around playing pretty. Considering the events that have happened in the last 5 years , there could have been so many scenes written and directed beautifully. In Ram's case there so much palpable pain and trauma. Priya is just so mechanical and ritualistic roaming around like a pretty robot .
At least before Pri and Pihu were trapped in deal drama there used to be significant screen time for mother daughter duo which was a delight to watch. Disha's acting as a mother and chemistry with Aarohi was endearing to watch. But even that has been chucked off .
Coming to tripping and falling . Uggghhhh!!! Don't have words to articulate how much I hate those scenes where no matter how and in what circumstance heroine slips she will straight up land diagonally in hero's arms and both of them will be cluelessly looking into each other's eyes . The lift scene and staircase falling was so so so forced.
In this same forum I had praised BALH2 so much for not going for cliché idiotic diagonal tripping romance 😭
Even when such scenes were shot it was so realistic and subtle . Like Priya tripping on the wedding day, and Ram instinctively getting hold of her hands. The scene where Ram and Priya were locked in Bri's washroom and Pri almost does skating on water and Ram firmly holds her hands, then there is a little bit of eyelock, I think it was kind of the start of their beautiful chemistry ..
But now what to say, exaggerated and forced falling, idiotic eyelocks for no reason , RaYa's chemistry has just drained off, there is nothing romantic or magical in their scenes anymore.
