At the very least the Kapoors must have given him a headsup to all the right people to approach and whom to avoid. Perhaps even invites to industry parties. Which is more than most outsiders can claim. The rest was up to him.

The kapoors did not support ranveer when he debuted, they didnt even mention that they are related, it was only a couple of years later that people started to found out they are related.

It doesnt seem like they were that close that they would guide ranveer or help him, the kapoors were too busy helping their own kids like sonam, rhea, arjun and even mohit marwah and harsh

These two have worked hard and deserve all the success.

And I don’t get this thing that Ranveer was related to kapoors so had it easy. If he had that big connections, he would have been launched with the tag if Anil’s nephew or however he is related to him. Ranveer Deepika are story of success in times of nepotism at its best.

Deepika had no inside support or backing, she got the dream launch but was left on her own after that. She found her way, just the way Ranveer did after his big launch. Let’s not belittle what they achieved by saying he is related to so and so.
