The cham was missing and I was even thinking that maybe Samaira ke saath pair up kiya hota. I think she did pretty well today's episode though I enjoyed her singing after long time. Just wondering why didn't Faiz got medal he was so good in both episodes.

Bold: he has been missed out few times. Could it be he is in arunita team. Someone has a grudge against arunita?? Even team of the week not given when Faiz and Rohan have given great performances

So true team of the week should have gone to Arunita’s team and I just realized since the show started they haven’t got team of the week. Idk judges ko Arunita and uske team se kya problem hai. I think there were times Sayisha deserved medals but didn’t get but this time I don’t think she deserve that medal I don’t know that’s what I feel.

Sun 31st July Poonam& Padmini Friendship Special

Samaira :-A forgettable first song Dil Bekaraar ( only Mukhda) followed by the iconic Ye Galiyaan. Very average. Her voice lacks the maturity for Yeh Galiyaan. No DHD

Pranjal :- Zindagi pyaar ka geet hai- another iconic number. Somehow he appeared v tensed , & kept looking at PD. I thought may be he feared he would get eliminated or something. The Bengali prelude & ending was very good,👍 main song lacked the punch. Couldn’t connect much. Got DHD

Faiz :- Started with a few lines of his own Mere Liye on request & it was wonderful 👍. Followed it up with Aisa Kabhi & Meri kismat mein - two songs capturing different moods of love sung by different singers - and he was awesome.👍. The transition was so effortless & smooth capturing the feel of the songs beautifully. Loved it,👍. DHD was well-deserved.

Sayisha :- And she is back!! 👍😀. Tu tu hai wahi & my wishlist Poocho na sung so well, perfect pitch, note, modulation, throw, feel etc…whatever HR said once about her. For me all this plus the zing factor or rather the ‘S’ factor, which was missing in the last couple of episodes, was back. Awesome. 👍 No DHD

Rituraj :- Ye Zameen again another easy number which as expected he did well. But Ye Kanchi was the dessert for me. Another DHD truly earned.

Mani :- Sohni Mahiwal. I found it decent. He has done better. Got DHD

Aryananda :- Noorie - only mukhda- and Tum se milkar. The second song is my favourite & she fell short of my expectations considering her performance on Sat. Although better than her previous renditions, she again suppressed some words & also the nasality in high pitch has returned. Overall decent, but it could’ve been way better.

Pratyush -Aruna :- Aruna did well on a softer number. Pyaar kiya nahi Jaata was average. Both looked tensed, maybe had the inkling of being in bottom 3.
Top performances for me were Faiz, Sayisha, Rituraj.
Team of the Week :- Pawan.

Eye-rolls & Rants…😳👇🏽

* With Faiz being awesome every week & Rohan getting the medal, Arunita is conspicuously denied Team of the week - yet again. 😡

* Faiz not getting a medal. This week he was more deserving than Sayisha

* Abrupt ending of Sayisha’s segment without airing judges’ comments.

* Mani is Maa ka raja beta…. And other kids are ‘padosiyon ka raja beta or rani beti??? 😡. I have respect for Mani & his parents, they are genuine & simple; but Mani’s mom’s make-over, coz Mani loves his mom!! 😡

Some cute moments👇🏽
* PD cheering a visibly tensed Pranjal.

* PD-Adi doing the ‘ mil jaaye is tarah’ clap

* Sayisha going ‘wah wah’ exactly like her captain

Overall a decent episode with some good performances… though the drama was back of HR-Rituraj & Pratyush’s platter.

So Aruna goes home & Pratyush stays on. So all those non-elimination weeks & cumulation of votes did pay off.

And finally…. You can have a Friendhip special without a single Dosti song ! Who wants to conform?! 😀

How does this work?

Aruna asks for votes, voting lines are still open & she gets eliminated as the least voted! This happened earlier also.
One more thing. These are recorded episodes & not live. So they record earlier, open the voting lines for the weekend while it is being aired & even before voting lines are closed ,they record the elimination too… Did I get that right?? Realityshow.. tagging you..

As I understand the bottom three are according to the cumulation of judges’ scores, but elimination is the one with least votes amongst them, right?

In Sunday episode Sayisha did well than the last couple of weeks but still I agree with you Faiz was more deserving than her he should have got the medal.

Yesterday , it was obvious that Pratyush & Aruna at least had an inkling of what was in store. They were clearly stressed. Pranjal also for some reason. Felt so bad seeing their faces. Creating such an atmosphere where the kids have to perform under tension amounts to mental cruelty. How come nobody is pulling them up for this?

I don't think Sayisha is Alka's favorite there were times when she deserve medal but they didn't give and if she was favorite she would have got medal every week.

I heard in YouTube that Nihaal has replaced Salman Ali in SS2. His team is Nihaal ke Nidar!

Apparently Salman had date issues and couldn’t accommodate the extension of the show as he has international concerts line up.
