You can be smart, focused, ambitious, and skillful...but still be a blind puppy in love. Those things aren't mutually exclusive. I think what brings the "poor Alia" sentiment is not that she's unaware of what RK is, but that she is unaware of her own self worth. She has everything she's wanted, but willingly chose a guy who treats her like dirt because she is too infatuated to see past the toxicity and realize her own value.

My prediction is that she's going to be like the Kajols and Twinkles of Bollywood....when she could've been the DPs, Kareenas, Kats, Anushkas, Sonams of Bollywood.

But, it's her 2nd trimester. She was pregnant when she told Kjo that she's pregnant and going to marry Ranbir. So she was at least 1.5 months pregnant on her wedding day. She's at the end of her 2nd trimester now, at least.

So your argument is that Alia is a fool for love? Not that girl. She lived with him for 3 years. That's long enough to learn if she can live with his quirks and foibles and make an informed decision. On what basis do you think that she has low self-worth and is willing to put up with anything. She has always known what she wanted and is willing to go for it. Luck has favored her so far.

You don't know what goes behind close doors in a marriage. The DPs, Kareenas,Kats ,Anushkas,Sonams might very well be having the same sort of marriages like Kajols and Twinkles. Ajay has the only one who has been publicly disrespectful. What? You are taken by the romantic nonsense they spout on SM? It's not enough that they love. But they mush show the world that they are "In Love". The PR antics and selling the love story to the general public are now compulsory for any screen couple.

Never been pregnant, but I've had a couple of close colleagues who have the past few years. It seemed more in the second half of their pregnancies that they started to get the pregnancy brain. All of them were smart accomplished individuals and they started becoming forgetful and couldn't remember things. Even the most mundane things. They were so frustrated😆
