I find these kind of letters a bit dramatic. Probably would have been better if he sent it internally to all the team members who worked on the film, like through an e-mail chain or whatsapp messages. It just opens up the film to more trolling

If he truly stood by his work he should have sent this to all his cast and crew not do some kind of theatric stunt on twitter.

Or is he being forced to write this with gun on his head by ADI CHOPRA to save YRF's image ?

There is always two ways to handle failure. One just ignore it and move on to next, which he did during first few days. Another learn from its mistake, apologize to his audience, saying sorry to audience for the crap which he has served as movie Shamshera. No one is perfect in this world from Ramesh Sippy or Rajamouli everyone has failed in his/her life. So accept your mistake, learn from it and try to do better in next.

Don't do this RANDI RONA in public .. like this is my baby... . You made SHIT. Accept it. If you still think this was Mughale Azam for you then you should better look for another job instead of direction.

Looks like prep work for "Bhramastra's " failure.

Never seen actors and director posting such dramatic lines for any movies failure before.

These letters clearly indicates "Shamshera" has met with EPIC failure there is no doubt. With release of VIKRANT RONA which is getting rave reviews already looks like 90 - 95%% screens won't be screening Shamshera any more. Plus tomorrow EK Villian Returns also hits screens. The movie which had MASSIVE 5000 screens worldwide will be limited to not more than 300 screens around the globe within a week.

YRF should by now learn. Its not brand name, scale of movie or stars which matter much post pandemic. Its the CONTENT which should emotionally connect with audience. Be it drama, comedy, thriller even tragic love saga it doesn't matter either it should touch audience heart and make them cry or make them laugh their ass off or keep them on the edge of their seat.

The brand YRF has galore of movies in their past be it Daag, Kabhie Kabhie, Silsila, Chadani, DTPH, Daar or DDLJ each of them had one major thing in common ROMANCE & MUSIC. YRF stood for that brand. But instead of sticking to their brand value and churn out modern, relevant narratives of those genre they choose to ape BABHUBAALI, KGF with both Prithiviraj & Shamshera. Result we all know.

I hope they learn from their mistakes. Hire good story writer who don't COPY & PASTE from South Indian or foreign movies.

What's with Sanjay's choice of words? Shamshera will find its tribe someday..kuch to log kahenge..hatred spewed on the work of one of the most hardworking and talented actor..etc etc etc..

Why do these people think they have made some masterpiece and public doesn't have the intelligence to understand it? Why can't they accept they made a bad movie?

Kal ko agar Ranbir ki movie hit ho gai to ye log public ko apologize karenge kya..for misunderstanding aam junta..and will they thank these 'log' for making it a success?

I'm feeling second hand embarrassment reading the love letters. are we sure that these people are ...... .......... ......... adults?
