Bottomline is you can't find much to attack SRK's character with, so you use a personality flaw.

Calling him an old-fart would be rude, though objectively true 😆the guy referred to him as the senior-most actor, now how is that in anyway rude? Why would he take it so personally and respond back with "tera baap"? Has he not seen himself in the mirror? 😆

All these years, and no one can find any actual character traits to attack, so they go for a personality flaw.

And yeah... I'd consider it rude. Clearly, SRK agrees. You can be magnanimous if someone calls you older than someone actually elder to you in front of the press, but most people would be a little peeved.😆
