That's because they were all scared stiff of Anandji.🤣
These old-timers are not pleased with unnecessary creativity that spoils the song. I fully remember that he mentioned to Arunita that he was happy that her rendition was true to the original without creative additions being made to impress judges.
I think Payrelal is also not happy with additions of mukhras and screaming when the song does not call for it.
And both Payrelalji and Anandji are free with negative comments when they think fit.
