The Kashmir Files director Vivek Agnihotri has taken to social media to target Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. The director might have taken an indirect dig at Bollywood's Khans, reacting to a news article talking about Shah Rukh is still the king of Bollywood.

Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri often takes to social media to talk about cinema, politics and more. The Kashmir Files' director's latest tweet seems to be a dig at Bollywood's leading Khans - Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan .

The director took to Twitter to retweet a post by BBC News (World) which talked about 'Why Shah Rukh Khan is still 'king of Bollywood'. Reacting to the post, Vivek Agnihotri said that the Hindi film industry will keep sinking as long as there as Kings, Badshahs and Sultans.

As long as Bollywood has Kings, Badshahs, Sultans, it will keep sinking."Make it people’s industry with people’s stories, it will lead the global film industry. #FACT," he wrote on Twitter.

Kings, Sultans and Badshahs didn’t recognise his most talked hit film?

They are called Sultans and Kings because the ordinary people thronged the theaters to watch their films.

They ruled because audience lapped up their movies.

Some of their movies may have failed but they didn't fail. Their movies failed not because of them but the technicians who didn't work hard on the stories.

Yeah I was one of those weirdos that liked Chocolate.🙈I may not agree with the direct digs here but general sentiment I agree with. I don’t believe in this superstar era and hero worship and am quite glad to see post Khans, at least in Bollywood, it will end. Quality, content driven movies any day over watching a ghissi piti masala movie of actors refusing to act their age.

They r badshah n sultan because they ruled BW for many decades n had massive success just like Amitabh is called Shahenshah
