I'm sure Daniel Day Lewis will take that into account and change his acting style per Ranbir's edict that his way is stupid and doesn't serve the film.

There is no one way - what ever gets it done is what matters - judge the end results not the ahem method.

Lets see- among films that released in the last few months..I can't see RK doing Jersey,Jayesh bhai,Uddham Singh,83 or even Bhool Bhulayya as well...Anyone wants to disagree???

So far Shamshera only showed him in his comfort zone ..and glossed over the difficult ones.he seems to be struggling.He doesn't even stand like Shamshera.He stands like RK.Same in Brahmastra.

Akshay Kumar bhi yehi bolta tha. After Prithviraj his director lashed out blaming him for not putting more effort into the character. And that was obvious in the interviews he gave during promotions of the film, 0 homework.

I don't see method actors saying others are idiots. Tumse nahi hota to muh band rakho. Sabko batane ki zaroorat nahi hai ki tum kitne "smart" ho.

Isko apne baare me bahut galatfaimi hai. And being around Alia wont help😆, she thinks he is the best thing since sliced bread.

Also, if its all about the movie, why are Shamshera's promotions all about his fatherhood. He is going to shows and taking tips from TV bahus on how to be a good father.
