I don't get people taking cannabis lightly in the first place.

Cannabis psychosis is a real thing and cannabis unmasking or accelerating onset of Schizophrenia in those prone to it is also not uncommon.

I gave my MD exams recently and my final exam practical case was cannabis induced psychosis which has classic Schizophrenia symptoms. They say even a single puff of potent cannabis is enough to unmask Schizophrenia.

Neele baraf and all can make fun of things as much as they want to but even if sushant was alive he would be questioned. This is how ndps act works

They're just harassing her because Aryan couldn't be netted, nothing more. And cannabis is not illegal, people buy bhang by kilos on Holi. NCB is a corrupt and shady organization. No peep about serious cases of drug dealing.

That's because you don't really know what ndps act and its amendments say. A lot of investigation is going on and in public domain just that media finds it convenient to only hype incidents involving entertainment industry.

On a daily basis seize keeps happening. I mysf reported a peddler who was under my care lasy year. He is from a very poor background and volunteered to enter rehab so punishment reduced for him. Haven't followed up on the case though since i am out of that hospital now.

They keep burning away illegal drugs all the time. Recent one was in june. They burnt all the seized drugs across 4 states.

I highly doubt media would be able to access evidence such as leaked chats and what not without help from the agencies themselves who show their desperation for publicity with these high profile cases

Still doesn't make sense to harass someone for 10 gms of ganja. She was a scapegoat for the public outrage following Sushant's death. She was made a pawn for BJP's campaign. NDPS act won't change that. People smoke weed in every college campus of India and everyone knows that. Sadhus smoke weed and bhang openly in Kashi Benaras. Rhea is just a scapegoat and a victim, nothing more.

They won't let her go until 2024 is over.....they really really need the distractions....Rhea...Emergency....aur abhi pata nahi kya kya.......They would have kept Aryan too....but they got exposed so they couldn't.

If it were legal, we would not have the hassle of taking pre-employment drug screening tests for a lot of the elite jobs. But meanwhile, it is illegal, all your phony law opinions notwithstanding.😆

maybe its legal in Bangladesh.😉 It's not legal in India. And its not legal in the US. 😆

as for Rhea being a scapegoat, that's how it works everywhere. Prosecutors go after the rich and famous, the big fish... to set an example for the others. Its hard to convict the rich and famous because they can hire good lawyers, but if they are somehow convicted, they get harsher punishment than the rest. For example, small guys might do a year or two for insider trading. Its the big guys who are put away for 10-20 years (eg Rajaratnam, also a desi who was a McKinsey partner).

So the stuff you have above is, sorry to say, just total bull.😆

once again, as you might be learning, it is a crime in India. So she did do the crime.😉

And yes, any prosecutor anywhere in the world would prefer going after the big fish, not the small guy. Its human nature too. There's more risk but also more upside in taking down the bigger people- in terms of personal rewards for the prosecutor and in terms of setting an example for other would-be criminals. So people should quit whining about Rhea being a scapegoat. She has a more privileged position in society and it behooves her to follow all the laws conscientiously, even if not be a good role model to other youngsters.😊
