@ bold:- same here. Could never sit through kids’ dance shows for exactly that reason. It robs them of the innocence which otherwise they bring automatically to their performances. During the early days of Boogie Woogie Javed Jaffrey even pulled up choreos for making kids do such moves - those were the days when the judges would comment & correct.Originally posted by: PV_IFhandle

Regarding fairplay - I absolutely agree with you. We need to educate children to make them good citizens. Instead, TV is doing its best to create a horrible future. That is one reason I detest children's dance programs. Many of those are downright exploitative of children with their vulgar moves!
I can’t sit through kids performing item songs with some guests or judges whistling. Anyways I stopped watching dance shows - even adults - when it became more of twirls, cartwheels, lifts etc . More of acrobatics, I feel.
