You Owe Me My Life, Priya- Ep 226 (Priya Ki Maang) Reaction

Hey so, this forum has really entertained me for a long time. So, just thought of putting ep 226's reaction here, so that if/when you watch it, I'll be your online partner :)

Before starting, let me just express my sincere desire to change the thumbnail/new title pic- can we please have a pic with all of them in one frame? Pihu and Priya are fine, but the Ram is suddenly looking elsewhere- just keeps bothering me ahaha.

Opening with Pihu- I'm so glad she's raised to be someone who is reflective. Her thoughts remind me of my dad and I. Sometimes, I really find him annoying, so annoying that I just- ugh. But, in my heart, I know he cares for me, so deeply and even if I spend a million lifetimes, I probably can never match his unconditional affection- that's how vast it is. So, yeah, Pihu, she's a cute kid. And sometimes, we really need to be like- yeah, mama is right, I should probably listen- she's Priya's kid alright.

I like seeing Maitri and Pihu- Maitri deserves a break from Neeraj lol. Seeing a caring Neeraj is giving me a whiplash ahaha.

I'm sorry I skipped the Minister's wife's dialogue.

YO WHY IS MEERA TALKING- SORRY SKIP.

"Wow, yeh kitna romantic hoga na, isse tum record kar lena"- lol who put me in the show?

"Har jagah aap yeh sindoor ki dabi liye phirti hain kya?" YO NANDU I LOVE THIS AHAHAHA. My hate for Nandu is nothing compared to the intensity of vehemence I feel towards this Meera ki Maa.

I skipped Meera's dialogue.

LOL SHUBHU MY BABY. He's the best. Pura ulta kaam karta hain, paar garv se karta hain. Just perfect. Lol, and he's scared to going to the jail? Kuch bhi matlab. Kise ooloo bana raha hain?

I like seeing- Brinda's hate towards Veds >>> Brinda's hate towards Priya. Girl's got her priorities.

Next scene- Meer- SKIP.

Ram- "mujhe bi nahi bharna"- bro, we know, just look at you, teri na mein haan toh hain. Lovesick puppy, bechara, he's in such a turmoil. He's become like Priya now- he's the new queen of taunts. Welcome Rama, our new iconic ITV heroine, full of adhura pyaar and natak.

Pihu- "haan, mein khadoos uncle sey sorry bolungi"- girl, you call him khadoos back to back and then say sorry in the same sentence lol, her trades with God are as nakli as her being Krish's daughter.

I love this entire Maitri-Pihu thing yaar, so cute.

WHY IS NEERAJ BEING A NICE HUSBAND? HE'S GIVING ME THE CREEPS. TAKE THAT HAIR OF YOURS AND GET OUT, STOP BEING NICE YOU GEL-HAIRED CHICKEN.

"Haan, woh mere papa hain"- LOL, this girl got no chill.

AHAHAH, Pihu is just like her father. Both can't see that their eyes are literally the same lol.

Oof wedding flashbacks, so nostalgic. Priya's love for Ram is pure yaar, roola degi yeh pagli. Her eyes have softened up so much, reminds me of her vulnerability when she used to get drunk. And Ram is also so smitten by her, just look at him. Their eyes say it all. He looks so lonely.

"Yeh mere liye itna kyuun soch rahi hain"- why does it feel like, despite everything, Ram still thinks Priya is his better half, he still doesn't completely deserve her. Like she chose Krish, and not him. He says she cheated, but in his mind, I always keep hearing she chose. The dhoka part always comes later and I'm glad we heard Ram's side of it. He's hurt. He still treasures what they were and is haunted by what they could've been. Adultery can break people. I love how Ram keeps talking about his heartbreak, he doesn't hide his pain and anguish with anger- he is honest with himself, even if not with other people.

OOF- "You owe me my life, Priya, you owe me my life. Meri khushiyaan, woh purana mein, you owe me everything"- And just like that, all those wasteful scenes with Meera, Nandini- I forgive them. I forgive them all cause Ram's monologue just hits home. His anger is well-placed. When one feels cheated, there is so much confusion. Why? Why me? Give my old self back to me. Ram has realized that that incident has made him someone else- someone who he doesn't recognize- and he wants his old self back. Priya was his source of happiness and he had associated his role as her husband as a part of his identity and worth. Without that, he is lost.

HAAN TU PAGAL HAIN PRIYA. You can see his pain but the reason is wrong, Pagal Priya. Her hair is stunning though. And wait- tension free? PRIYA BRO, YOU DON'T SEE HIS DEAD EYES AND ROOKHA FACE- HE'S GONNA PASS OUT WITH A HEART ATTACK.

Shubhu's dialogue delivery just cracks me up- I don't know why, can't take him seriously. "Ram bhai family man hain. Mein sutela hoon, but he loves me. hence, point proven." LOL WTF.

ISHAAN GET AWAY FROM MEERA PLS BRO BAAT SUN MERI.

Side note: Vedika's jhoomkas are so pretty.

Preview- Love how time aane par, Ram just doesn't give a rat's butt. He cares for Priya, period. Her health is his priority, no matter the situation. I reminded me of the lift wala scene- don't think anything Priya, just catch my hand. Crystal and clear.

I love your positive takes. Especially skip MM 🤣. I can't tolerate her on my screen either.

I can't see the episode and find the same positivism you had. I will go on a rant about how stupid everyone is and hence I am staying away for now. Until they give Ram his lost brain and Priya, her lost brain as well.

Hehe, I'm just having fun yaar. And yeah, there is a truck load of stupidity going on, but sometimes it's better to just shut the brain off like our beloved Raya and relax hehe.

Okay, fun aside) I like how Ram expresses his pain at least with himself, he wants himself back, he wants everything back - it's only Priya. And she is ready for him to do everything in turn, their eyes spoke even more than what they wanted to point out to the minister and his nasty little wife.

Therefore, their daughter turned out to be so smart, cunning and at the same time sweet, all in mom and dad) Her concern for her aunt is such a charm. Get Niraj out of there, really))

Ishaan is a wonderful boy, it is clear that he is sincerely ready to try for his aunt, he loves her like a mother. It's fine.

It's time to send Brinda to a cold shower, Adi clearly understands more, as does Shubhu, who was talking nonsense, but it was absolutely true.

I read that that horror Meera had a face-off with Nandu. 😱😳🤭 I want for Nandu, evil as she might be, to win that round. Though Meera is so stupid, she'll live in the delusion that 'There! I really told her off and redeemed myself for ruining my daughter's life.'

Not a fan of Ram or Priya's present actions, so I'll zip it.

Brinda passed some comments on Vedika. And Ishaan was the one to put forward the entire sindoor rasam- but he collaborated with Meera Maa- so yeah.

Brinda dissing Vedika is so old. Hadn't done much besides talk, has she? Yet she felt entitled to refuse Priya access to her husband....

Nandu may be the khota sikka, but Meera is so off-putting, I'll take Nandu any day.

Ram and Priya finally had their monologues yesterday but alas both are barking up the wrong trees!! For two people who are soulmates and could read each other better when they started out as a couple, they sure are clueless as to why the other one is looking so full of angst and teary eyed!! Duffers much!!

Meera Ma needs her comeuppance soon…she has the nerve to try and act holier than thou next to Nandu, & try to revive the relationship she was partly instrumental in ruining willingly. The cheek…I detest Nandu but I abhor MM more that her!

The minister and his wife are really jobless, irritating & loud…have nothing better to do but breath down Ramu’s neck 😜!!

Pihu the cutie pie is gonna give daddy dearest a much needed dose of his own bitter pills…high time too! He has been obnoxious with her for quite some time now. Shubha us another duffer…or not perhaps😅
