Laal Singh Chadda has to be the least hyped Aamir movie

Ek villain returns earned almost 40 mil trailer views in just 4 days while LSC took a month to reach 45 mil views !! Even the strategy of releasing audio only songs backfired with many ppl not even knowing that the movie has already released 3 songs. May be Aamir will increase the promotions closer to the release

I don't know why aamir thought audio only songs would works in this age of visual medium for a movie; which is a visual medium. Last I checked, LSC isn't an album. It's a film.

It might have worked if the songs had a more commercial appeal but so far , all are niche and something u might want to listen when trying to sleep

I don't think the songs or promos matter. The film will live and die on WOM.

Restricting the song videos seems random though. It worked with Dhoom 3 because people were willing to pay money to see Katrina dance/strip-tease. And even then they needed those 30 second spots for the songs.

There is still so much time left. They started promotions way too early. I’m sure they will release the video songs before release.

The trailer killed a lot of interest imho
