Haha no. We are nothing compared to koreans. Korean audiences are so toxic and so trigger-ready always, artistes there can't do anything without worrying about upsetting their fans, especially the kpop idols. That is why the various agencies have such exploitative contracts with the actors and singers there, that they control every little aspect of their lives, even the type of cosmetic surgeries they would have to compulsorily undergo and you can't refuse if you have to work with them. Plastic surgeries are so commonplace in Korea, it wouldn't be exaggeration to say that probably every Korean gets some kind of cosmetic job done, especially women. (South Korea has one of the highest rate of cosmetic surgeries per capita in the world). The agencies control every little aspect, from what they are going to eat or how much, their routines and training and dating life, especially if you are a new recruit. Even after debuting and becoming a bit famous, chances are that the kpop idols are still not financially independent or rich because most of whatever they make initially goes to the entertainment agencies they have a contact with. They have to work years and years to earn their own money and have a bit of flexibility. It's easier for actors and if you are dating someone who is also liked and approved by the people. Because then people don't mind(like BinJin Or Song Song couple). But if it's not approved then it's a huge scandal that sometimes even forces the people to break-up or risk their careers.

Few years back I was too much into kpop and was a big huge EXO fan. There was a member named Chen who suddenly announced that he was marrying his gf who was pregnant. Gosh the scandal that happened. There were protests from some EXO fans everywhere and they all abused and trolled EXO and Chen and demanded that he should be thrown out of the group now because he had somehow betrayed them and lied to them🙄🙄🙄
