(for context -- IAS jobs (administrative officer position in the government) is not only highly prestigious but a lot of responsibility. these are the smartest and brightest and they deal with all sorts of issues)

what I find interesting is how intentional she is when she is sharing about finding that work life balance and maintaining relationships with family.

when it comes to shehroze, the focus is there only for naima. that is what I meant by idolizing. if he has to balance, then there has to be intent that all other relationships also need time and effort. he cannot expect ushna to pop up when needed and fade away when he is busy with naima.

Thanks for sharing this .!! Yes intent is important but he is too blind..well i am.hoping he may learn from.his experience and grow. It looks metaphorical but it will be right to say Ushna entrance into his life has a purpose to set him free out of Naima's clutch and teach him a life lesson which he can learn and grow..😆

She herself is an entitled person who thinks they are of higher class. So even if shehroze might look down on people below him she might not have thought that to be a big deal.

He seems to be such a badtameez to his father only after her stroke and by that time he was already out of hand. It was said that wahab was adamant on sending shehroze abroad for studies and he had to go. So even though he was detached to his father he wasn't exactly down right badtameez to him before.

And that’s lack of parenting and all kids do misbehave at some stage unless Shehroz never did which seems unreal. Fulfilling all his wishes is lack of discipline as well - just because she had means doesn’t mean she gives him what he wants.

There must be a reason to send him offshore and se can draw conjectures but I think they also said Wahab was always an absentee dad so I don’t know if that was before or after the stroke? Must be before as after he was an adult. He is badtameez to everyone now except his mother.
