Crash course by EK & Co.- How to get away with butchering a show!!

Ekta Kapoor and her creative team from BALH 2 deserve such high accolades for butchering and mercilessly killing a beautiful love story with such panache!!

I am absolutely dumbfounded by their superlative talent in leaving no stone unturned in making us hate every single thing we loved about this show...BRAVO..BRAVO indeed!

Ram 1.0...that wonderful goofball, upright man, gentle yet strong, insecure yet all heart has evolved into Ram 2.0 - being so mean and obnoxious with a 5 year old little girl repeatedly, someone he barely knows and who has actually unwittingly helped him. Ram and Pihu interactions are so forced and so unlikable - It is not at all CUTE...their interactions leave me cold! If this is what every heart broken and angst ridden man started behaving like we would have a world full of immature stupid ill-behaved men. Nakuul is such a fine actor but being reduced to playing a caricature like this...

What is Ekta's problem? Was she hoping to ride on the charm & popularity of Nakuul the actor, to get away with playing an angry middle aged bitter Ram, behaving more like a bitter, angry, heart broken, love spurned teenager who is not likable atall! Where does she and her team get inspiration to create such caricatures? And which 5 year old talks like Pihu does??? Mouthing such weird grown up dialogues...just so they can force feed parallels with her parents!!

I don't even want to talk about Priya and the rest of the cast and what they have done to them! Too much space and time will be wasted:((

But RAM was my favourite character...and seeing him reduced to such a pathetic level is astonishing! Do the ITV production houses really believe that Indian audience likes and deserves to see such illlogical, stupid stuff! I know every other show on ITV is full of such disgusting crap but this one started out so so beautiful...what the hell happened to them down the line!

The way this sadistic ekta maiya destroyed such a beautiful show I have no hopes left. I am not even waiting for raya reunion because the way they have destroyed both the characters I can't imagine reunion of so called sacha pyaar karne wale😕. I don't see anything called saccha pyaar between them. I am not even watching this serial much nowadays just watching some clips or written updates makes me question is this the same show for which once I wasted my time?? And this serial is producing a very wonderful message and the message is becoming wonderful on each passing day👏

I am sick of Ram 2.0. Who behaves so badly with a kid? 🤢The show has completely lost the plot.

@bold, I think that IS a factor, and a fact. Maiyya relies on the actors' popularity to sustain through her inevitable garbage. I'd have continued watching if og Priya had lived, the same way NM's battalion of fangirls keep watching and deifying his character, as if his behaviour has any realistic basis. At least he's a good actor--I've seen non-actors worshipped, justified, and mooned over.

No words for the trash this is. IMO, NOTHING can redeem it.

You are pbbly right...there are plenty who are swooning over this Ram 2.0.

I had never watched Nakuul before this show but I loved him so much as RK I actually ended up watching NKYBF seasons 1 and 2 both. He is a pretty good actor and I do enjoy watching him on screen. He was the best thing in NKYBF. I don't really care or want to watch his earlier shows but would really like to see him in some good shows in the future. And he and Disha share awesome chemistry on screen. I think I was enjoying an onscreen couple after a really long time when BALH started...the last time was in 'FRINGE' watching Peter Bishop and Olivia Dunham some years back.

And agree he was really good in yesterday's confrontational scene with the minister, but once you stop identifying with the character you stop enjoying even great acting. What wasted potential. If you watched Priya's bakery dream sequence last week...it was beautiful and simple...reminded me of the old RAYA! I saw that online and decided to give it another try but the good parts are only imaginary in this show....just like the brains of the makers of BALH2:))

I know i am still going to watch the show as I need closures... Whatever half baked they may be. But agree... They have really butchered the characters. I hate sood family the most. Sara would be the most immature and selfish sister. Like how can they again begin a track with Sara teasing P on Ram. Like she doesn't know what her sister went through. Knowing how toxic it was for her any real family member would protect p and keep her away from Kapoor's rather then forcing her to participate in her wedding in some way coz she doens't like being alone. And she is ok with getting involved with R or Rs friends? Doesn't she feel any guilt of the sufferings her family had caused ram... Still ok with him taking care of ishan ??? This lady has no self respect. Really sad and not a single strong character in the show except to some extent Priya maybe... But now she also seems ok with taking undue advantage of Kris!!
