DOBAARAA (2022)

The film premiered last night at the London Indian Film Festival. I was fortunate enough to get a front ticket. There was a Q&A with director Anurag Kashyap with Taapsee Pannu and Pavail Gulati after the showing too which was very entertaining. I throroughly enjoyed the film. It's something I don't think we've seen in Bollywood before. I am therefore just soooo excited for the trailer to come out and the wider audience reaction. It's a thriller, so I don't want to talk about the plot, but I will say that it's very cleverly done. Once again Taapsee's performance is just something else, she continues to evolve with each project.

It's been so long since an Anurag Kashyap film has felt exciting, so I am going to wait for the trailer. Hopefully it surprises.

Dobaaraa is a jinxed title..There were two films released in 2004 /2017 by that name and both were disasters .This film likely to meet the same fate although it appears a good film based on what you narrated above.Taapsee Pannu movies are suitable for OTT at this point..Her brand of cinemas are just not meant for big screens..
