@bold: That's the main problem! Even in farmhouse track, he really crossed the limit with Kukki but they were all completely wrong too, esp when they kept trying to justify their mistake by saying that he had already come so he should have stayed. It reminded me of how Appu kept up her "it was a surprise" rant during the whole gifts track. He looses his temper at their antics and says something so he ends up wrong and apologizing and their stupidity doesn't get called out. Therefore, Appu doesn't learn her mistake and she continues the same way.

This time though, he actually very patiently made her understand not to get involved and she just gave him a false promise that he is going to be both pissed and upset about when he finds out. And he will for sure say that he can never trust her and, he will actually be justified this time, because she has always lied to him about something or other regardless of her intentions.

I'm still angry with him for his DBS antics, make no mistake about that. He should have trusted her when she swore on her Baba. But like he explained today, just when he thinks that she is become mature and he needs to understand her more, she does something or other that brings his perception of her back to square one.

Okay so her. whatever appu is doing is for the right reasons..but her ignore everyone’s request,,,is this the right thing to do? At the end yes all will be happy,…duh! But her not listening to dk. Mai kuki and her own husband , pleading not do do certain things and yet she does it…..should she not apologize for this, sincerely ?

Also khauds will say a lot this time and we are going to be angry at him….but will be as angry as before?

I don't know what you guys think about it but the DK (and family) aren't entirely wrong in their position about Avantika.

So it looks like she did everything from them and just suddenly came home married with her husband. Anybody would get angry about that. As Mai had said, DK didn't object to her marrying, he just wanted her to be settled before she did. And she just went behind everyone's back and got married. So their initial anger and hurt is totally understandable but as the anger went away, DK did call her back. And this time she was wrong again to insult him that way in her own ego. So as a father, he will be more hurt than angry and his words sounds more out of pain too.

It's not a matter of intercaste marriage or marrying against the family's wishes or parent's wishes. It's how she did it. The lying and the ego even when they were willing to take a step forward.

Woh baba wala scene- i am still angry at him…and remember none of us have forgiven him for that

But think time i want focus on khadus too- he will be hurt and i hope appu sees this…i want her to see ke her doing things (even with good intentions) she also breaking his promise and not listening to him or understanding him - got to him…

Agreed!!!! It will be an emotional roller coaster ride this week and possibly next week. 😩

So are they going to assume Mai is at her mayka but actually she’s sick

Will avantika find her? I hope that’s the case rather than Apu bringing her home

Or Mai may be fine but seeing DK worried for her may act being sicker than usual and agree to call Avantika? (But then don’t now what Apu’s involvement will be in this unless she gives Mai the idea to fake sickness, which when it comes out will a whole another issue 😬)

I do feel for dk now after reading this….his anger is justified…i would be angry too….since its shown to be a close family adn she went behind their back,,,he was ready to accept…he only wanted best for her…so he got a bit angry….any father in this situation would..

He did call….and she didnt come so there is only so much left to do…and didnt she miss her parents too? Tali do no haath se bajti hai…

I won't be angry with him this time. because even if he calls her liar, immature, self-centered, and untrustworthy, he won't be wrong because that's how she's behaving right now.

She's lying to him and blatantly breaking the one promise he sincerely and patiently asked of her. (And unfortunately this will give him the wrong ground to further say that he was right about before for not trusting Appu's words regarding Netra)

She's refusing to listen to any of their cautions and thinking that her way has to be right so that is immaturity and self-centered thinking. Intentions can't change the fact that it's still wrong.

Honestly, by this point, I would have expected to at least heed to DK and Kukki's cautions. I know she disregards Shashank's words most of the time because of their own issues and she might listen to Mai since she's already crying and upset. But she knows how strict DK is and Kukki has always been on her side so she should at least consider his hesitance for a bit.

Lol…she may be she will turn out to be Mai’s doctor…who knows….at this point i am ready for a roller coaster ride…..or not…i dont know…..

@bold: if that happens, then she is going to deserve everything coming her way. She's already seen the result of acting sick once with the farmhouse track so if comes up with that same idea again then she really hasn't learnt anything and I'm sure that Sua Aai, and Babi if she's back, would blow at her too.

Dada-Kaka - more than mad - looked wounded to me. I don't know how to put it in words but I just could feel it - that Avantika was not just his first kid but also that kid that he probably loved the most. Now, I know that parents do not differentiate and their love for all their kids stays the same but the affection for your first kid is always different and special. Because that kid gifts you the beautiful first experience of parenthood.

Dada-Kaka seems to have struggled a lot to bring himself to a point where he can pretend like Avantika does not matter to him anymore. Why he seems like he hates even the mere mention of her because maybe hearing her name makes a crack to the art of pretense that he thinks that he has mastered but in reality - it is fragile enough to break even with the slight hit by Avantika's memories.
