Somewhere it IS Anu and Anuj’s mistake. They are dumb enough to not understand Barkha’s evil intentions even after the griha pravesh. Such snakes should not be kept in your house especially if you already have a stretched relationship with your kids and want to make your home feel welcome to them.

If this was a genuine que - this is the project that they had started many months ago, when he gifted her his mom's ghunghroo and handed partnership papers. A restaurant project for which they went on their maiden business trip to Mumbai, the one which they went look for plot in the outskirts of the city (were stuck somewhere due to inclement weather!). A project which she meant to include other women like her (abhala naari bhashan!)

There are also the DA contracts that she had besides the teaching kids, it was shown as if she had bagged a premium contract for choreographing dance for international events.
