Episode 604: Anupama and Anuj demand an apology from the guest for misbehaving/disrespecting Baapuji

BB and Anuj each brought a gift for the home and they open it - BB's says Kapadiya's and Anuj's says 'Anupama Sadan' BB is stunned and argues that all know Anu owns the home but as all family will live there shouldn't they be recognized.

Anuj counters by saying that Anu's name is on his heart, his being so rightfully on the home name plate too

Anu resolves by saying, they'll put both the nameplates.

One on One, Anu is talking to Bapuji talking, saying she has never lived in such a big home, even the curtains are remote control. Bapuji is happy for her.

Ankush apologizes to Vanraj for the miscommunication at the security gate, and offers him a drink, he appreciates the cordial relationship even after the divorce, then proceeds to measure him by saying that it is he knows that this must be difficult for his EGOto be friendly with his ex-wife's family BUT he recognizes that it is his NEED to have this relationship and that he wisely chose NEED (zaroorat) over ego!

Vanraj is not to be left behind, he similarly sizes AB up as well and retorts by saying that even they have returned back to India suddenly and that leaving everything and moving with Anu/Anujust must've been difficult for their SELF RESPECT, but that he can clearly see that he too has chosen NEED over SELFRESPCT, so it's best to not interfere in each other's affairs!

Kapadia kids/shah kids all mingling - Baa/Vanraj observing it's best to stay far away.

Baapuji burping scene: He burps, that guest (Mrs. Mehta) makes fun, Vanraj yells, the situation escalates, Anu/Anuj run in to see the commotion. heated words are exchanged and BB asks Vanraj to apologize to Mrs. Mehta, while Anu comes in the middle and takes up the fight with BB, says until now, she's been polite, and considerate to BB's guests, but this is the limit.

She goes on to say that does Mrs. Mehta not have manners? to not raise a hand at kids or voice at elders! She reminds everyone that they'll all be at this stage soon, and she reminds BB that bodily functions like burping/farting are sometimes uncontrollable (eg when she was pregnant with Sara) She says she would've said the same if it was Mrs. Mehta's father too, and ask to learn respect not only of the relations but of the age too

Anuj backs her up. He adds more about not forgetting civility and basic etiquette. He straight out asks Mrs. Mehta to apologize to his father. AB tries to apologize to dissolve the heated argument but Anupama says, he or any of us should not be apologizing, Mrs. Mehta should. Anuj is furious and asks Mrs. Mehta one last time to apologize.

Episode ends

Precap: Episode 605: Shah family leaves the 'grah pravesh' without eating, Baa citing that they are full from Anu's jethani's insults. Anu is in tears!

My take: I really don't understand why the writers are stretching this function and creating a mountain out of a mole hill of every little thing, guess we have to let this play out - we very clearly understand that BB wants the money/power, AB is also not that lovey-dovey and we already know how shrewd Vanraj is. Anuj adores Vannu!! They're trying to show Anuj supports his wife 1000% and yes we know he has transferred everything to her - for the last time we know it!

Tenor pe. Sasural simar ka hai. If I remember correctly kuch bhi nahi chora inhone. Simar became a fly, snake, ghost etc etc.
