I was too heartbroken to even write a review after the kind of ‘tribute’ they gave to KK 😔🥲. I mean, is this ALL that a musical show could do to bid farewell to an awesome singer who had an illustrious career & who was gone too early at his prime??
TCT & Sony outdid themselves, surpassed our expectations in this - I was mentally prepared to be content with a 10mnt medley of his songs. And what do we get?
Faiz was not upto the mark with Alvida. The captains just rounded it off with KK’s iconic Pal. TCT & Sony cannot justify this. Clearly time cannot be an excuse, when we had to sit through Pratyush’s cake ( in what way, pray, was it funny or even remotely interesting?😡😡), papas’ dance with ma’m shetty, Arudeep jokes ( which obviously they themselves are fed up of) & more such infuriating stuff.
They couldn’t even factor in 15 mnts for this tribute - the time they devoted to showcase Mani’s poverty on Sat?? 😡
Shame on TCT & Sony. Had it not been for the talented kids, I would’ve stopped watching the show 😡.
All is not lost. They can still redeem themselves. If they didn’t have time to prepare well, they can still give us one KK Special Episode in a couple of weeks. Hope someone up there is stalking this forum…
