Reshoots are fine though. It's standard practice in most industries. Bollywood if anything, needs more of them.
The bigger problem is Bollywood does the scripting and reshoots within their own circles. They need to collect audience inputs and have test screenings, then reshoot. If you are going to be Marvel, need to commit to their entire factory line approach.
I didn’t know that about reshoots. How much reshoots are we talking about? Just a few scenes here and there or does it become a whole new schedule of shooting? I think Bollywood does the former and calls it patch up work.
Yea as far as I know Bollywood doesn’t have test screenings. It might be a logistical issue. You can do it in some markets and have the audience sign legal documents agreeing not to spoil the movie publicly. But in certain other markets that may not be feasible. I don’t know. I’m just thinking out loud.
