It is written that rajmouli is presenter of the film for south languages not distributor.

I think presenter and distributor are different things. Rajamouli will get his money either film is hit or flop 😆

He is not distributing it. He’s presenting it. What that means is he’s basically using his name to try and sell the movie. This is what KJo did for Bahubali. This is basically a quid pro quo thing between KJo and Rajmouli.

That’s sort of a generic statement to make. I’m sure he’s seen the movie. There are even rumors that some of the changes that has happened in the movie were because of his input and suggestions. Whether that’s true or just internet gossip, or even Dharma manufactured gossip to make Rajmouli seem more involved than he is, who knows?!!

Brahmstra might turn out to be a great film. That’s something that will be determined after it’s release. For the time being the whole process of its making has been too public for everyone to dissect, and what some of us are seeing after all the dissections and discussions and speculations is that it’s looking like a mess.

he is presenting, also he just said he didnt see the film and ayan just showed it to his dad, this for me is a bit of a red flag

rajamouli is super business savvy he will only do as much as what he gets back

this is confusing, i read this too but then he recently said he didnt see the movie

I may be extrapolating but for radhe shyam he saw the movie and gave suggestions and when it tanked he also got some flak

maybe he wants to get out of these obligations now, this giving suggestions to all and sundry will bring down his value too

OK so now there’s confusion about whether Rajmouli has seen the movie or not.

If directors want a big filmmaker’s suggestion ask them at the scripting stage. There really isn’t anything anyone else can do once the movie has been shot. And if you are reshooting then something has gone wrong and I don’t think anyone from outside can fix it with just a few suggestions and without a complete overhaul.

Reshoots are fine though. It's standard practice in most industries. Bollywood if anything, needs more of them.

The bigger problem is Bollywood does the scripting and reshoots within their own circles. They need to collect audience inputs and have test screenings, then reshoot. If you are going to be Marvel, need to commit to their entire factory line approach.
