I'm not feeling the chemistry nowadays tbh. It's as if after marriage it's gone downhill and become very dull.

No. None. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Negative.

I tried really hard to see some sparks there. For months.

They aren’t a conventionally “good-looking” pair, so they already had that working against them.

Anuj was so believable in the beginning, but now he’s like a firework that has fizzled out.

I enjoyed watching their friendship more and I wish that had carried out a little longer.

She’s had some passionate moments when he wasn’t there. I.E., when he was in the hospital and she told Vanraj that he waited 26 years for her and that she couldnt imagine the next 26 breaths without him. That was cute.

But again, that was a solo performance.

I think Bae tries his best to romance her but it’s like he’s looking at a corpse sometimes.

There is nothing from her end unfortunately.

She has more fire in her eyes when she talks to or recalls something from her past with Vanraj. I see emotion there.

Her expressions with Bae dont go beyond “🙂”.

It’s giving she settled for him.

This is farfetched, but on some level I feel like her getting together with him was more people pleasing on her part.

I’m rambling, but i dont see any spark there. She looks at him the same way she looks at samar or babujii.

TL:DR - Ali & Bicep have more passion than all of ITV combined. 🥰 #Alibicepson

There's nothing soul stirring about them yes but there's a relatibility factor with them (i'm in my mid 30s so - but again that shouldn't really matter I guess)

Yes, before the confession, there was a lot of "spark" but then I would like to see it as a slow burn sort of romance to get us all hooked to this pair (also to show how they fall for each other "organically" - Smitha, your fav word 😆)

I wouldn't say that post wedding, it has gotten "dull" or something as such, but I feel they have become more comfortable and better companions (which is not too bad a thing. I mean for relationships to last, it is just not love but also all these small things no?)

I feel that she is somewhere scared of emoting or showing her feelings towards Anuj cus khushiyon ko nazar etc and her charac is always been such - because of her past and SH.

This guy goes all out to show that she means the world to him, maybe that will slowly rub off on her - but yea a long way to go.

But then for me, that's what makes it special. Him loving her more will always be there and i'm kinda ok with that. Provided, they don't spoil this equation any further.

But, I have never felt anything stir when I see them together. The char Anupama isn't measuring up to what I have in mind for soul stirring love at all. It never has from day 1, never will. It is hard for me to put in words as to what I am trying to measure against.

Like you mentioned, I have no qualms about the actor/actress themselves. Each of them play their roles as they are directed to.

Your nuggets really are those nuggets which enhance scenes and imbue deeper meanings in the simplest of actions and words.

MaAn on the other hand had their own charm... I still enjoy the Christmas walk back home... but only chemistry cannot work for a show... oh they still give me butterflies when AK gives his smoldering look... but the charm was AKs character... when they try to spoil it somewhere the relatability goes... and it takes a toll on their chemistry...

A pankhi after my own heart!!! So many iconic dialogues which still resonate today. Speaking of that consummation scene, there was much jealousy of those goldfish who witnessed it all 😀

What his character was and what they have reduced it to is upsetting to see. Guess “Love can reduce anyone to anything” right 😉
