Chemistry - Yay or Nay?

Yesterday was the 11th anniversary of a show that remains close to my heart despite the passing years. It's been the yardstick against which I measure everything since, be it consciously or unconsciously.

We all have that certain something which strikes our soul and becomes the very definition of what we feel love should be. Something we've experienced, something we've seen in reel or real, something we've visualised in our dil or dimaag.

So, given the above, do you feel Anuj and Anupamaa have that soul stirring love? That certain je ne sais quoi between them that sets the screen ablaze. This is nothing to do with their calibre as actors. I'm only referring to that visceral spark that makes great love stories.

The simple answer is No. I feel the heart strings pluck, something inside me shift only for Anuj.

But, I have never felt anything stir when I see them together. The char Anupama isn't measuring up to what I have in mind for soul stirring love at all. It never has from day 1, never will. It is hard for me to put in words as to what I am trying to measure against.

The handful of drabble nuggets I have written, I could not bring myself to imagine her in it at all.

Like you mentioned, I have no qualms about the actor/actress themselves. Each of them play their roles as they are directed to.

Ipk was my birthday gift❤️... sept consummation was ❤️... "I love you, damnit" "humbhi aapse pyaar karthe hain damnit", "unbelievable" "laad governor" "ey titalya" "What the" "Hello hi bye bye" So many memories man❤️... I can rewatch it so many times. The scene were he removes the fairy lights off her gives me goosebumps. I remember gushing over them so much with my friends... discussing episodes..❤️there was a charm because of the story... I believe... every track I looked forward too... enjoyed.. 8 pm I rushed to tv

MaAn on the other hand had their own charm... I still enjoy the Christmas walk back home... but only chemistry cannot work for a show... oh they still give me butterflies when AK gives his smoldering look... but the charm was AKs character... when they try to spoil it somewhere the relatability goes... and it takes a toll on their chemistry...

Arshi is Arshi yaar my most favorite Jodi after that I find only Riansh But MaAn is great Jodi but not near that Jodi....so kuch kuch hota hai with tumse na ho payega....but thanks to remind me Arshi (my love).

IPKKND was also my love. ArShi is the pair I used to worship that time. But now when I watch them I don't feel the same charm maybe because I have grown older. As now I am in my mid 30s I can relate to MaAn more. Yes I find heart touching chemistry in MaAn which I once saw in ArShi.

Nope. They don't. I used to feel for Anuj's feelings before but now I don't. Even after Anupama's confession I have not felt anything of that sort. My idea of soul stirring is different. I am old school in this matter. I have seen that soul stirring friendship sparks between them but it wasn't nurtured properly. That may had lead to soul stirring love but now in my eyes nothing can do that.
