Highway as an episode in the Rishtey series was awesome! Kartika Rane >>> Alia and I say this despite liking Alia. So I don’t care for the 2014 version of Highway. From his movies, I can rewatch Socha Na Tha and Jab We Met several years later and still not get bored so I’d say those two.

Jab We Met is his best film. I do think it benefits from it being an early days film for him, when his guy with issues meets Manic Pixie dream girl (who has some rather superficial issues of her own) formula was still fresh. But it's also rather simple and comforting. Shahid doesn't get enough praise for being an effective foil to Kareena.

Rather surprised that LAK and Rockstar are both excluded from the poll. I think they are both competitive for a second place in his filmography both quality and popularity wise. Rockstar has almost a cult like following.

very true. I would rank both JWM and Rockstar as his top films. Back then I thought Nargis and Ranbir made a cute couple.

agree and that's why I Iike socha na tha more than jab we met, it is what shahid's role is to kareena's in jab we met, meaning a more subtle movie with nuance and understated performances from all

but Jab We Met is the best

1. Jab We Met cuz Shahid is one of my absolute favorites and there was no way I was gonna miss it. and it didn't disappoint a bit. I didn't like Kareena at all for the longest time but I warmed up to Geet in the movie.

2. Socha Na Tha was a really cute, fun movie too ... and I could totally relate to the "comedy of errors" theme, cuz I often fail to keep people in the loop too and some things just end up looking totally diabolical. 😆 either way, the movie was entertaining and that's what counts!

3. Contrary to popular opinion, I found Tamasha very interesting... at least the concept was! They should have polished the movie better though .... some parts looked just plain off and confusing.

Didn't watch and don't care about the rest.

This is a no brainer. JWM easily. And unlike others, I loved the film for Aditya Kashyap and Shahid Kapoor.
