Germany has seen the real horror of Hitler . World knows only his anti semantic veiws and as a ruthless leader. But that just a tip of iceburg. He was a psycho . No religion or dharma teaches to kill the sick but for him they were the burden so he eradicated them and whitewashed people minds with his propoganda that he was making an ideal society where weak and sick don't deserve to live. Hitler is interesting bcz of this. Not good, not wise, but complex and a study in religion, wars, masculinity, economy all things combined. More as a cautious warning to society that what it can be if the extremists are not checked. As much as Germans hide this, whitewash this, somewhere, some ideas of his resonated with lots of people. Majority of them. Their allegiance to those ideas was larger than anything.

I'll give you an idea, you know in India in some parts people kill little girls. Newborn babies. It's almost unofficial, like lots of things in India but they just exist. And some methods are particularly cruel. Now imagine how precious a baby seems and imagine their own blood killing them. They've come to see women as a sub human and that's all it matters. Once you are okay with dehumanizing someone, even a little bit, you can do unspeakable to them.

While we indians still are able to avoid our inhuman crimes towards female babies, woman, genosides by foreign invaders and still take pride in our great indian history , Germans on other hand have drawn the lines between history present and future.

Honestly nationalism isn't a good thing IMO, most modern nations are just a concept and for some societies, like Indian subcontinent, or Africa, they're not even suitable. In upcoming times, with climate change disaster, the idea of nationalism needs to get done, in favor of more unified, but fluid politics where everyone is willingly cooperative and tolerant of each other, despite the differences. And as eutopian it sounds it's necessary for human survival. Otherwise there'll be just billionaires in their special dome mansion bunkers.

Indians haven't understood nuance. They don't see things in complexity. Funniest Thing is rn Hitler's admirers in India happen to be mostly right wing, and it's hilarious because they definitely didn't do shit when the freedom struggle was going on.

That's why i said i am not sure my kids will stay in Germany. Right now it is relatively far better then India. But it won't be thirty years after. I can already see. But then i will be old enough and earned enough for my pension 😎. Kids will educated accordingly . They can choose a country they find better like we chose one for ourselves. If not , humara ghar hai na .They can stay. But dare their wives try to change my favourite curtain. Sabko bhaga dungi😈 and will live like that old Miss Havisham of Great Expectations 🤣( ye kya kaha maine)

That's the nightmare i often get😔. But then i am happy we live in Germany not Moga🤣. Here you can marry divorce remarry and divorce again so much so that your sixteen year old daughter will be attending your third marriage ( example from recent marraige i attended). It's cool but at the same time scary.

I will just make sure my sons don't get mental break down and my grandkids grow up with good sanskaar if i live long enough to see them. 🤔

My rules are simple. Get your house if you wanna change kitchen settings or the curtains. My house my rules. . Even my sons must follow.

As much as desi people like to shit about divorce rate in western countries I would much rather have that then all the nonsense which goes in desi households. Here people mostly women are in absolutely abusive relationship and still people just say that compromise you can't break a marriage🙄
