Brahmāstra is a magnum opus, its not some small scale movie, the movie was in production for almost a decade, they started shooting in 2018 and completed in 2022

Brahmāstra's star cast Includes Ranbir, Alia, Amitabh, Nagarjun and SRK

DNEG is doing vfx, they won Oscar for Dune, this movie's selling point is the technology and vfx they are using, its expensive

Simon Fraglen (Composer of Avatar, Spiderman) is composing its background score

Promotion cost of Brahmastra will be more than budget of many movies, did you see the event they organized for announcement of trailer release?

If he knows the movie won’t do well he’s already accepted his loss. This way he can manipulate the verdict a little. I’m sure it happens all the time 😆.

Ultimately Brahmstra is a make or break for Ayan. Everyone else has a chance to bounce back by their next release including KJo and Dharma. In the meantime if you can manipulate and put out the perception of a hit then why wouldn’t you? I’m using his own words here, “it’s all about perception” 😆

Brahmāstra is a trilogy. KJo is pretty confident and sure it's going to be a big big big hit. Ayan must be already preparing for the next two sequels of the movie.

Going by the teaser and all the stuff they have promoted till now, it's already looking like a game-changer for Indian cinema. I am sure you agree with this.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister has fixed ticket prices, RRR team submitted details of the budget to CM requesting ticket price hike, they should do it here so we get to know about real budget 😆 everything is speculation at this point, BOI will report it soon then you'll get answer, don't think anyone can say anything for sure

A trilogy is only a trilogy of the first one succeeds. Jagga Jassoos was supposed to be a trilogy too.

If the movie succeeds, I mean genuinely succeeds, then yes it will be a game changer for Indian cinema. But it has to do Bahubali level of success for it to be considered a game changer. Otherwise it might not be cost efficient for producers to try something like this specially when the audience can get their superhero fix from Hollywood.

BOI has said many times in their articles that Gangubai is a Hit. They may change it to Semi-Hit later on but I don't think they will.

They didn't name Jagga Jaassoos as part one like they have done here. Ayan and KJo are mighty confident about this one.

There have been so many web series and movies in so many languages which get new seasons and sequels despite being moderately successful.

But yeah Ra.One was named one because there were supposed to be Ra.Two, Ra.Three and so on. Anyways Brahmāstra doesn't have the immense negativity that came along with Ra.One. Even the story, mounting, production values look a lot lot better than that ambitious project.

Will Big B live to see the trilogy finish though 😆

Jagga Jassoos was launched and made as part of a trilogy. I think they stopped talking about trilogy after a while because they realized it wasn’t going to work.

I understand about web series or smaller movies. But this is a very large scale expensive movie. It has to make a lot of profit for them to be able to invest into part 2 and 3.

As for KJo being confident, I’m not saying he has given up or that he will. I’m saying IF he does he won’t let it on and try to make the most of what he’s got. That was my point about selling for lower price etc.
