Mithai- What happened to her?

Where is that Mithai that we saw in the initial episodes who demanded a sorry instead of money? Why has she become so submissive? They have changed the whole character. She did not object one bit to Sidharth paying her mother’s bills. And now she is back to hiding his passport. I mean seriously. After such big revelation this is what the makers show.

Whats with Indu being a mute spectator all the time. Most of the people in that family insult her daughter calling her names and blaming her at the drop of a hat including Sidharth and she still wants to get her married in that family.
I am sorry to say this is not what I had signed up for. I was looking forward to a light hearted show and it is anything but. Maybe the trp will increase since the trp audience like these kind of dramas.

Indu will not say anything ! Because Sid is taking care of her and regarding people calling her names, insulting her ... It will happen after marriage too. Plus she can't demand sorry for everyone !

She did Object in yesterday episode but Doctor said she don't have to do anything. Plus she was going from the house, it was Sid who stopped her. So why to blame her ??

Plus Indu is giving her daughter to them to take care after her death ... It is Sid who stop ped them and asked them to stay till she doesnt get well.

Yes....also they hve toned her down too much...all the time she is either crying or being emotional....the bubbly, jumping around mithai we saw in initial episodes is missing... though she is really good in every scene n her comic timing 👏👏but all her efforts n hardwork is going waste as the trp is stuck... as lead pair ...there is no charm..... to attract fans...it's the chemistry which makes fans go crazy n hype them...but there is no discussion or any hype on twitter..wish they had casted some known talented actor as ML...! Feeling bad for Deba after success of Saakk she has to settle for this...hope next time she chooses her project carefully.

Why you are saying such things ? Success of Saakk ? It was the worst show ... She was crying in that show also !

Mithai is a good show with a good emsemble cast which is what made me tune into it. And a new pairing.

The ML is quite good. What Aashish has portray in Siddharth he does well and he and Mithai bounce each other off well. Aashish hasn’t made Siddharth have a ego but a man who does have heart but stoic with his family that’s it and Mithai is full of life and energy and her courage always shines. I think Deb and Aashish compliment each other well and their characters well too which is the key for me liking the pairing and interested in what to come and their romance angle too

Mithai for sometime has calmed down alittle is due to thinking Dadu has cancer and then Bhura kidnapping her/forced wedding - so we been seeing that lately and now this with her mother and Keerti/Rohan situation.

I personally didn’t think much of her last show or the pairing. I did occasionally catch her other show on Sony tv

I think it’s better that we stick to discussing this show and not compare it with any other.
Each show has its own fanbase and I am still watching just for Deba hoping it would get better.

I didn't like the execution in last couple of episodes , Mithai knowing such a big truth about her mom's health, back to Dadu's problem solving. And Dadu after so much happened, didn't even tried to find out what happened, he didn't ask what did she heard Rohan talking to Rajeev, Abha has slapped her in front of every one and Dadu instead of fixing that issue, back to, only Mithai can stop Siddharth from going to Singapore.. Not liking the execution at all.. Unnecessary dragging at wrong places and I feel there is chemistry between leads but it is not portrayed correctly, so it is not coming out ..

And to be honest Dadu character is not able to portray good, even in sadness he is showing as a smile

I think Director is bad ... I didn't see his previous work so don't know much .. with this kind of execution it is hard to run for long ...

not sure if u have seen the whole show, it is one of best shows in ITV with not much kitchen politics, no extra marital affairs' no toxic stuff and top notch chemistry, that's why TRP was low as it couldn't attract TRP aunties and show got discontinued ..

She cried in that serial, even ML cries but there was a purpose to that cry ..

I understand about not discussing other shows but couldn't resist myself from replying after the above comment ... will not discuss further on this topic.
