And the worst problem is they start the show showing them as strong and progressive characters. And also promote superstitions. Then people complain why are Indians so superstitious. You know in Qubool hai, they all ready know that divorce in Islam is such a controversial topic, still they proceeded to show further fabricated by themselves wrong rules instead of showing what is problematic there . Before showing at least they should know the basic rules of divorce.

Since message ki baat aayi Qubool hai wali divorce ki baat aa gayi brain mai, I want to write one thing here. You may skip if you don't want to read . The things that it showed wrong.

In the 2nd generation-

Divorce dikhaya - It showed that younger brother ne divorce de d kisi k behkawe mai aake and then realised ab kya hoga as he can no longer marry her.

But ek baar divorce hone se couple can remarry. Infact in Arab before Islam it was common at that time ki koi v chahe marry karke jitni baar divorce de dete hai aur fir remarry. To stop it from becoming a game, the maximum times a couple can divorce was limited to three. First 2 times remarriage can be done but 3rd time it can't be done. And in the initial two times 3 months of waiting period is also there. Meaning if they decide to reconcile within 3 months then firse naye marriage ceremony is not needed. But if that period crosses, then it is need to hold new ceremony.

Ab kisi logon ne isko modify karke 3 talak bana diye, ek baar Mai 3 baar talak talak bolke and all.... As you know still controversies are going on for this.

Nikah -e- halala -.So the brother in Qubool hai now asked his elder brother to marry her and then divorce her again to make him able to remarry again. So another faulty thing here. It is only valid if natural second marriage happens for the women, a natural maritial life takes place then naturally divorce hote hai ya death of the second husband, tab jaake it becomes valid ki the older couple can remarry. But it is only valid if it happens naturally. If it is done with the sole intention to make that women able to remarry the older husband, then it is not valid. Strict rules are there for this. But kuch v dikha d Qubool hai mai.

Again in the first generation-

Ghunghat marriage -They showed that two people were hiddingly taking the place of two different bride and groom and phone pe baat karte waqt kisi aur ko yes bol dia tha isliye marriage ho gaye. Kuch v . Another one replacing the bride with the same name.

In Islamic type of marriage there is no way Dulha ya Dulhan swap can happen. The names of the bride and groom and their father's name must be clearly pronounced totally audible to the opposite party and along with other conditions if applied. Only then the marriage is valid. By other conditions , don't get confused, it is like more of conditions you can keep in a contract- For example a wife can keep a condition that after marriage I will not be stopped from doing a job. In that case the husband will have no right to stop her. If he doesn't accept the condition, than also she can deny the marriage and it will not happen. But after accepting the condition, after marriage if that changes, she can approach the court. And another important thing, a forced marriage is not a valid marriage only in Islam but sadly we see more of forced marriages in Muslim families 😑.

At least these shows can point out the problematic practices instead of worsening the already messed up situation by inventing new problematic rules.

Qubool hai ka basic premise whi ta … if you see the first promo or first meet … it was always meant to happen that she will end up marrying ML’s brother … they wanted a love triangle that way… but kinda feedback they got made them reconsider and then the actor left .. and Vikrant massey came and then he also left so they scraped the character altogether… and fir to ML hi permanent ni ra … so the focus was shifted to FL completely….

I know the story is still problematic… but it was supposed to be that way .. not that I am defending the show .. i didn’t even watch it …

Wo brother marrying wala part and talak I am saying about is in the 2nd generation.Ok basic premise jo v dikhaye dikhaye. I don't have problem with that. Whom she ends up marrying that is not the problem.

The problem is twisting the rules of the religion. Already these things are controversial and so many lives are destroyed in the process. By making people more misinformed, and inventing further problematic rules on their own, they are making it more difficult for so many women who are already suffering.

By showing the talak rules the wrong way, they are giving out more ideas how it can be misused. And many people who do not study the rules themselves think that is the correct rule. But the rules that are in favour of women, empower them and which can be used by women to make their lives better are never talked of or shown. Instead already one-sided overused and misused rules that men use to dominate women are further twisted or fabricated to worsen the already messed up condition.

Everyone talks about parda for women. But no one talks that there are some clothing rules for men too. No body talks that before talking about modest clothing of women, Quran first speaks of controlling bad gaze by men. No show shows how education is mentioned to be compulsory for both men and women in Quran. Each gender mentioned separately for no confusion. They don't show that it is the fault of the families that they are not educating girls. They show as if it is mentioned in the religion to not let them study.

No body mentions the rights the children have on parents to not be forced in many aspects of life esp adults .

I was asked by one of my friends that Muslim girls need to be married very young na just after puberty? I got shocked by this question. And she said d your life is gone itne kam age mai. This is also misinformation. She did not know that it is not compulsory to marry just after puberty, it is the lower limit under which it is not allowed. This rule does not say marry someone as soon as one reaches puberty but it says that child marriage is not valid. Yes the age was considered minimum puberty because it was 1400 years ago. That time puberty was considered to be adult here. It only ascertains that one does not get married as soon someone is born or very very young. It does not forces to marry as soon as one gets puberty.

Everywhere it is shown the rights of the men and duties of women. But no where it shows the rights of women and duties of men.

I am so sorry that I reached somewhere else from just a show. But this misrepresentation many times bothers me so much and I couldn't stop myself from expressing which I usually refrain from. This is the first time I am talking about this is so much detail.

I never claimed I am a Preeran fan… initially there was a good bonding developing between Rishabh and Preeta .. but suddenly it took back seat and majority of the scenes are between Preeta and Karan … ab koi kitna b acha lge sath me … story hi ni ti wha …😆
