i understand where she is coming from, for us a pushpa or rocky might be unrelatable but rags to riches, a laborer, slum, village, a migrant are relatable to a lot of audience. they identify with the struggle which is real , the feats they do maybe superhuman though

one can't imagine any of these star kids fitting in those roles, they probably wont look convincing as middle class too, the way vidya balan was in tumhari sulu and raj kumar or ayushman are.

the problem is there is no acknowledgement of outsiders whatever their accomplishments are,
vicky and ayushman, rajkumar have won national awards for great performances, we never see any recognition of that, it is just buried. imagine if ranbir or alia had won it for their initial movies, we wouldn't have heard the end of it
