Regarding abhi- not sure how kuch it holds true for today’s incident (maybe partially true) but in general I agree that he is very impulsive and that often leads him into trouble and can have the exact opposite effect of his desired intentions. But having said that, I don’t believe he goes so far as to not give space/ opportunity to ak for her opinions/ growth. He is a fair, open minded person and if you reason with him, he does tend to view and understand the situation from a different perspective. Like for example:
1) he wanted a run away wedding, but agreed with akshu when she explained the importance of having family’s blessing.
2) music therapy department- he took unilateral decision in opening department and was fighting with HAM on it because HAM’s intentions behind closing the department were wrong. Had HAM given logical reasons for closing department (like lack of investment or resources), or even told frankly that they felt neglected that they were not involved, I am sure abhi would have listened and even apologized for not involving them. In contrast, as soon as akshara told him about her intentions behind leaving Birla hospital, he understood and was supportive of her decision.
3) todays incident- Even now, he is not 100% happy about ak joint the charitable hospital but he will still support her after listening to her valid arguments.
So all in all, he is impulsive but I don’t think he is one to stubbornly hold on to his decisions in case they are wrong.
