I know you and I see the Abhi support thing differently.
Just wanted to stress that I am not coming from a negative angle. I just see it as concern is great but when it becomes continuous sometimes unintentionally it can cause issues and hurt. Writers have been careful to try and draw that fine line so Abhi's behavior does not come off as controlling hence Akshu's reply to Shefali.
I just take it as a mother hen trying to protect her chicks. She is doing what any parent would do but the overprotectiveness can hamper the growth. Eventually the chicks needs to leave the nest. The chicks need some space so they can truly fly.
Abhi's intentions are good but too much even good intentions can become a hindrance, a burden, suffocation, and sometimes has the oppsite effect of the intentions for the other person.
Its like what Akshu tried to do on the anniversary party. Her intentions were coming from a place of good but the results ended up badly.
So I really hope no major khaand comes from the charitable hospital to have Abhi go into overprotective mode and again inadvertently hampering Akshu's growth. You have to take the good, the bad, and the ugly. That is what life is all about. Abhi has seen a lot of bad in his family life so his instinct is to try to control everything. But the reality is you cannot control everything the tigher you hold sometimes the harder things become. I am sure over time Abhi will learn to let go a little with Akshu's help. When things get sorted in his house he will be free-er.
